{Chapter 3}

Athaniel's POV

I woke to Claude carrying me out of the crib, but as I still wanted to sleep I closed my eyes, and put my head on his shoulder, as he saw that I was about to fall asleep, he lightly pinched my cheek, which still hurt, but not as much as last time, but it was enough to wake me up sadly

"We can't have you falling asleep now Athaniel, we're going to have a picnic with Diana at the garden, so we need to get dressed okay?" Claude said chuckling while he picked what I was gonna wear

"Waa Bwaa (Whyyy)" I said

he chose clothes that had a flowery design, which was actually nice looking

He then helped me take a bath, which a bath with rose petals in it, thanks to that I smell like roses now, he the got me dry with a towel, and helped me put on my clothes, I look at the mirror to see I was so cute!

I then look at Claude and he seemed proud at his work, he then carried me to the garden where I saw Diana and Felix waiting for us in the garden, I also saw lots of food and treats, as soon as we arriving Claude gave me to Diana, cause she wanted to hold me

"Aww look at him he's so cute, that's it I decided I shall be your mother, no excuses! Your too cute to have only Claude as your parent" Diana said while she kissed my forehead, which made me giggle, while Felix and Claude seemed to want to hold me as well

"Diana let us eat now or the food will get cold" Claude said handing her a plate with her portion on it

"Then let us hurry! We can't waste food now can we? And Felix come over here, and eat with us! There's plenty of food" Diana said while handing Felix a plate, and then continued to feed me some milk, which it's taste was still the same, but this time they gave me some strawberries to eat also, though I don't really like strawberries, these ones taste ok

"Then I shall bother you this time, thank you Lady Diana" Felix said smiling at me and Diana or Mom as she wanted that

"It's not a bother Felix, after all we can't have you stand, while we eat right Claude?" Diana said Smiling back before looking at Claude

"Of course your right Love" Claude said smiling at Diana and me, which made me feel the love radiating from that smile, I could that he really loves Diana

'It really makes me wonder how he could be so different in the future, but I guess losing the people you love changes you, well at least he will have me this timeline' I thought while I ate some more strawberries, before crawling to Claude cause why not?

After crawling all the way to Claude I grab his robe like what Athanasia did, he then looks at me confused as to why I was tugging his robe

"Your Majesty, His Highness wants you to pick him up" Felix said, smiling at how cute this scene was, while Diana just laughed at Claude's face

"...Is that so" He said while picking me up, as I continued to eat,while they talked, which was mostly about paperwork, when I should start studying, etc

Anyways it seems that they were drinking some tea, which smelled quite nice, you know... It looks quite familiar... Ah that's right it's Lippe Tea
That's why it looked familiar, Diana then drank some of the tea, and her face burst into smiles

"It feels like flowers are blooming in my mouth!" Diana said happily drinking more

Claude just smiled at her, while Felix and I was wondering how it tasted that is seemed like flowers were blooming inside one's mouth, they then just continued chatting

But since what they were talking about bore's me, I just stared at Claude's face, now that I look at him properly he looks more handsome in real life than in the Manhwa, like how did they make him this handsome

Then i started wondering how exactly does he look this young all the time, like he has a ton of paperwork and the job of king, isn't that stressful? Or does he just give it all to Felix?

I was still bored so I decided to sleep on Claude's or should i say Dad's Shoulder as they continued talking for a few minutes, they noticed me falling asleep so they decided that I should get put to bed

Claude's POV

As I was talking with Diana, I noticed Athaniel had fallen asleep on my shoulder, so I silently showed Diana that he had fallen asleep

She nodded and told Felix to tell the maids to clean up this place, and then we silently walk to our Bedroom, where we put Athaniel on the Bed in the middle so that he won't fall off

Me and Diana then went on each one of his sides and cuddled with each other, Diana then gave me and Athaniel a kiss to our foreheads, and we soon fell asleep, which was a surprise as I usually don't sleep this early because all of the paperwork

Third POV

While the three were asleep, a figure appeared, and approached them, but they stopped when they were right in front of Athaniel

"So this is him?, quite a cute child if I say so myself just like when Claude was a child, this should be interesting, well I should leave now, before I get caught, but It should be fine if I left a gift" They said before something appeared on their hand, and went into Athaniel's body

"Use my gift well... My dear Nephew, I.. hope that you make Claude happy for me"

The figure said as They vanished from the spot they were on
