{Chapter 5}

Athaniel's POV

It has been a few days since we found out Diana was pregnant, which was quite a scary for me, cause I knew she was gonna die after giving birth to Athanasia, which would lead to Claude killing, etc

So because I was in deep thought about the events that we're gonna happen soon, I didn't notice Diana walk into the room with Felix, she then saw that I was in deep thought so she sat next to me with a worried look

"Athaniel" Diana said snapping me out of my daze

"Y-yes mother?" I said to which she frowned, which made me nervous

"What are you thinking about so hard? Is it because you don't not want a sister?" Diana said, while I turned to look at Felix only to see he also had a worried look on his face

"N-no! I do want a sister! Im just worried about your health... They said it hurts to give birth...." I said looking down

It might not be fully true, but I did not lie that I wanted a sister, like why not? It would be fun, and I wouldn't be as bored anymore but the question is do I visit the Ruby Palace the day she dies, or not cause I do not wanna see Claude going around killing people.... I'll think about it later...

"Aww you don't have to worry about that Athaniel, I'll be fine! So don't you worry" Diana said

'....Really? Then why are you gonna die then? Hmm?..... Maybe she just doesn't know yet..'

"Mhmm! Yeah that's right mama!" I said cutely, which made Diana and Felix chuckle

"Anyways today I will bring you somewhere special since you haven't really explored the castle yet!" Diana said grinning, she then stood up, and carried me outside the room, while Felix just Followed behind us

So after a few minutes of roaming the halls, passing many rooms and gardens, I got curious so I asked mom

"Where are we going mom?" I tilted my head, making mom squeal at how cute I was

"Well I suppose it wouldn't hurt to tell you, were going to the library so that I could teach you how to read and write, so you can make your father and me proud" Diana said tickling me, which made me giggle as I tried stopping her

"Mama... s-stop... t-tickling.... me!" I said as I gasp for air each time I talked, while Felix just smiled warmly at us bonding with each other

"Alright, alright I'll stop" She said as she stopped tickling me as we stopped at a big set of doors

"Anyways here we are! The Library which Claude made just for us, I must say it looks amazing!" She said as she looked around

"Wow! Its Soo big, will we even be able to read all these books?" I said as I looked around amazed at how big the Library was, while Diana just laughed

it was even bigger than Athanasia's one, and also had much more books, there were ones about the History of Obelia, Magical herbs, Magical beasts, and some about how to use your magics, which I will definitely be reading

"We don't have to read every single one, we only need to read what's important, so stay here while I find the necessary books we need okay?" She said before walking away to the large piles of books

well anyways I noticed that Felix was not in the room, and Mom was busy getting the books, so I have a bit of free time to find a book to read

A few minutes later...

After looking around for a few minutes I finally found a book suitable for me to read, it was [How to use your magic for beginners] by Elise Bernette, so I opened it and saw a lot of complicated stuff, but there were some drawing in it as well so I could understand parts of it
