Third-person POV
Day by day, after that night where Chaeryeong got caught by her ex-girlfriend, it didn't stop her from going out.The only thing is that she's more careful now. Chaeryeong would never want anyone to find her "secret space", except for Yeji.
Yes, Yeji would still go to the small "box fort", every night.
It's been a week since they met. Every day after work, Yeji would go to Chaeryeong. Though Yeji is always the quiet one, they still talked and shared a lot of things. You can say, they have almost no more secrets hiding from each other.
Yeji is starting to trust Chaeryeong more, and her feelings towards the younger are becoming different. It's a deep feeling in her heart. For Yeji, she's afraid to have this kind of feeling towards someone. Since she had never been in contact with any other people, now that she knows she's falling for someone, she didn't know what to do.
"Yeji unnie, here, eat this," Chaeryeong said as she takes out a box of fried rice.
"Isn't this too much?" Yeji asked, looking at the big box of fried rice.
"Um... I haven't eaten my dinner too, you can eat first and I'll eat when you can't finish it."
"Let's just eat together," Yeji uttered and handed the younger a plastic spoon.
They started eating the same box of rice, Chaeryeong felt happy as she get a chance to eat with the elder. Some say people get to be happy whenever they're spending their time with someone they like, no matter what are they doing. It's true. While having their dinner, they looked at the night sky. It was a beautiful one this night.
The crescent that's hanging in the sky shining, white dots around it sparkling. It's a beautiful sight. Even though the atmosphere was filled with silence, both the girls weren't awkward at all. They felt comfortable having each other's presence by their side.
After they finished their meal, Yeji took out medicines and bandages from her side pocket. Chaeryeong noticed that, she tilted her head slightly to the side, looking at the elder.
"Chaeryeong," Yeji called, the younger hummed in response.
"Come here. Let me treat your wound." Yeji gestured for Chaeryeong to come closer.
"Where did you get all of these ointments and stuff...?"
"I stole it," Yeji uttered, leaving Chaeryeong in shock.
"W-What?" the younger stuttered.
"I'm joking. I bought it just now." the elder said as she pulls the younger girl's hand gently over her.
Rolling up Chaeryeong's sleeves, the wounds and bruises are revealed. There are a few new injuries too. Yeji stared at the wounds, she kept silent, her heart hurts to see this.
"Ah..." Chaeryeong winced when the elder started cleaning the wounds.
"Don't move."
"O-Ouch..."
"I said don't move."
"Ow-"
"Hold my arm tight if you feel pain, and, stop moving," Yeji said.
Yeji's caring side was showing, Chaeryeong felt warm. She stared at the elder as Yeji treats her wound, the corner of her lips curved up unconsciously. Never knew having someone to care about her was this good. She felt warm, secure, joy and love.
