Chapter #3 A new guest, a promise and damn shenanigans.

(Authors note: I'm gonna put some information that may not be accurate, about PGR)

(1st Pov)

It's been a few hour since we came back from the store. I spent more time explaining more about my world to them, so they understood more of today's modern logic. Right now I was on my couch reading over my blueprints for the battery, trying to figure out how to safely reopen the portal to send them home. Ruby and Akame were in their guest bedroom reading a few books I gave them. Lucia was beside me on the couch, doing nothing, but watching me.

Y/n: I could just give you a book you can read, you know.

Lucia: I want to stay by commandments side, for when he needs my help.

I look at her innocent face as she says that. She still looked as pretty as in the game. I gave her a small smile.

Y/n: Your helping me already, just by keeping me company. Thanks, Lucia.

She just nodded, but Y/n saw a warmth in her eyes as well. I looked back at the blueprints, well would have until a stray thought came to me. 

Y/n:... Hey, Lucia?

Lucia: Yes, commandant?

Y/n: In your routine before coming to this world... did you encounter the mysterious white haired construct?

Lucia put on a thinking face.

Lucia: Yes... Why do you ask?

Y/n: You see... I explained how you were my attendant, Ruby was my background and Akame was my lock-screen, right?

Lucia: Yes?

Y/n: Well, I was actually playing as her in the game. She is a playable character, she's mostly called Alpha, she also disappeared from my game, but... how much do you know about her?

Lucia: Well every time we meet, I receive weird memories and anything she said always finds it's way to the back of my head.

I pulled out my phone and pulled up PGR. I went to the construct list where it had all the playable constructs. I then show Lucia.

Y/n: These are all the constructs I can play as... this is you and this is...

I pull up Alpha and Lucia gasped in shock when she saw her true name.

Lucia: Lucia... crimson abyss? What?

Y/n: I have a theory on whats going on here. Do you not remember anything from your academy days? When you first became a construct?

Lucia: No... They said I went on a mission and got a bad hit to my head, so I don't remember anything from two years ago.

Y/n: I see... Well my theory is that.... your a copy.

She stared at me horrified. 

Lucia: C-Com... C-Commandant...?

Y/n: You see, the thing is that Alpha is an Ascendant, a construct that is corrupted, but haven't lost their minds. What I'm thinking is that, the original you was attacked and infected by the virus, but... I don't know about this, but for some reason and somehow, the people you work for had a copy of your mind and put you into a new construct body. So then they left the original for dead, but the ascendants got to her... and made Alpha. Do you remember asking Lee if copying minds was possible? He said it was like a work in progress, but then again, I assume there were many secrets kept from you, I wouldn't surprised if Lee's information was false and copying mind technology already existed. What do you think?

Lucia: But... if I'm not the real one, does that mean I'm completely different from the original? Kamui said something about me not caring about others back in the academy.... Who am I?
