Your POV
A day or so later, Touya hadn't been back for several hours. I figured this was my time to escape.
I lifted my head and found a way that I could untie the ropes. I looked back to the door and saw that the light under it was on. 'I'll be able to tell when he's coming.' I thought.
I began undoing the ropes and within minutes I was free. I slowly stood up so I didn't fall back. Then, I walked to the wall and found a window. It had a padlock on it, so I used my quirk to freeze and weaken it, making it easy to force the window open. I slipped out and closed it softly behind me. Once it was secure, I ran as fast as I could. I ran out and saw the empty streets. It was dark out, but there was no one. Everything was in ruins. I brushed it off and kept running. I thankfully recognized some of the streets and made my way back to UA. Once I got there, I was met with large walls. "Hello?!" I called out.
"Put your hands up! State your name and quirk!" someone shouted while pointing a blinding spotlight at me.
I did as I was told. "My name is Y/n Todoroki! My quirk is frost fire!" I yelled.
"Stay where you are!" someone shouted.
A few minutes later, a silhouette appeared in the light and I heard a small gasp. "Y/n?" they asked.
The voice... "Shoto?" I asked.
He walked out of the walls and approached me slowly. His face lifted and he sprinted to me, tackling me in a hug. "Y/n!" he cried out.
I returned the hug and said, "Hey."
We walked inside, him still holding me like I was a piece of paper that could blow away if the wind picked up even a little. We walked to the nurse's office because, well, I was still injured heavily. Everyone slowly crowded us, murmuring. "Get the rest of our family." Shoto ordered.
Someone nodded and ran off. We walked into the nurse's office and Recovery Girl immediately rushed over to me. She sat me on the bed and examined my burns. She gave me a kiss and they started to heal. Exhaustion filled my body and everything became weak. I fell back on the bed weakly. "Here. Eat this energy bar." Recovery Girl said.
I nodded and picked up the bar, eating it slowly. I finally regained the strength to sit up and so I got up. "Is Bakugou okay?" I asked.
Shoto, who was still in the room, said, "Yeah, he's fine."
I sighed in relief and slowly stood up. "Can we see him?" I asked.
Shoto nodded and we walked out, but I quickly lost my balance and Shoto caught me. "Let me hold you up." he said.
I nodded and used him as a crutch. He looked at me and chuckled, "Your hair is so short now. You might need to cut it to make it even."
I chuckled, "Yeah, Touya's flames burnt it off on accident."
"Oh... how are you taking that?" Shoto asked.
I sighed and said, "Well enough I guess. I haven't really had the time to process it."
He nodded and was about to say something before I heard someone sprinting down the hallway. I looked to the side and saw Bakugou sprinting to me with teary eyes. I let go of Shoto and stumbled toward him. My knees were shaky, and just as I started falling, Bakugou caught me in a hug. We fell to our knees as he held onto me for dear life.
Bakugou buried his face into my neck and I felt the warm tears fall onto my neck. I hugged him back just as tightly. After a few minutes, he pulled away slowly and met my eyes. He brought one of his hands to my head, cupping my cheek. I leaned my head into it, enjoying the warmth of his hand. He drifted it behind my head and I met his gaze once again. "I never thought I'd see you again." he whispered.
