I slowly open my eyes. The room was still dark. It had to have been around five AM. Two hours. Not much but it's the most I've slept since I've been here.

The warmth that surrounds my body isn't from the blanket but the body that holds me.

It takes me a moment to realize that we were still in the hospital room. That Alycia was sharing the bed with me. That we kissed.

Lifting myself onto my elbow and forward, I reach to grab my phone off the small table that stands beside the hospital bed. "5:46" I mumble to myself. The arms wrapped around my waist tighten and pull me back to lay down. I put my phone back before lowering myself back down on the bed with ease, turning so I lay comfortably on my back.

I look at Alycia and although it's dark, I can see her smile. The smile that always manages to be contagious. I can't help but smile back. In turn, she leans her head forward and connects our lips together for a short and simple kiss. This is all I've ever wanted. I mean except the hospital part.

"It's early..you should go back to sleep." I mumbled, sighing contently as she tightened her arms around me. Alycia nods but we don't move. Our gazes don't leave each other's.

I smile and lean closer, our lips a hair length apart. My hand finds its way to her cheek. We both catch glimpses of each other's lips. Just as we're about to kiss, there's a knock at the door. I look back to the door, then to Alycia. As if she had read my mind, she nodded.

I got up from the bed, moving to the chair that rested beside the hospital bed. The sudden loss of warmth makes itself known quickly. The nurse enters the room with a clipboard. "Ms. Debnam-Carey..I see you're awake."

Alycia was discharged from the hospital a couple of days later. It took the paparazzi no time to find us as I walked with her to my car. Fortunately, we were already in the car as they got to us. "I have no idea how they found us. The hospital I was in." Alycia spoke. "Yeah. Some people are just that crazy about it all I guess." I responded. I looked to Alycia, surprised to see her looking back at me.

"I guess we should talk about what happened in the hospital.." she spoke. I nodded. "Yeah.." I sighed. I parked the car and got out, walking to the passenger side and opening the door for her. Once she stepped out, I closed the door behind her, walking with her to her apartment.

As we stepped inside, I closed her door behind me, turning to look back at her.

"The kiss..or kisses I should say.." Alycia began and I couldn't help the chuckle that left me as I shook my head. "I feel like we've had this conversation before.." I mumble and look up to Alycia. Her eyes are filled with sorrow. "I'm glad it happened." she abruptly said. "While it shouldn't have happened in a hospital..I'm just glad it did." she continued, looking down the her hands that she began fiddling with.

I take few light steps over to her, grabbing her hands. "I am too.." I spoke in a whisper. My thumbs rubbed the back of her hands. I smiled, looking at Alycia, seeing the smile she wore.

"Can I..take you out?" I ask. Alycia giggles as she nods, walking towards me and wrapping her arms around my neck. "Yes, Y/N. You can take me out." she responded.
I giggled, putting my hands on her waist. "Really?" I smiled.

"Mhm.." she said, leaning her head forward. I followed her movements, connecting our lips softly.

It almost doesn't last long enough as I feel Alycia begin to pull away, finding myself doing the same. "It's late.." she mumbled in a low voice. "I should probably get going then, hm?.." I asked, more of questioning myself than her. "Or you could just stay here.." Alycia said, almost as if she was too scared to but did it anyways, or as if we hadn't slept over at each other's houses before.

"I see no reason why I can't." I spoke, unbeknownst to the smile that began expressing itself on my face. Alycia leaned forward, give me a simple yet sweet innocent peck on the lips.

"Good. Because I require snuggles." she said, her lips curving into a smug smile.

"I think I can provide those for you." I responded my hands removing themselves from her waist. I look over to see her bottom lip poking out. I smile, picking her up bridal style. She squeals as she wraps her arms tighter against the back of my neck. "Where to?" I question.

"The couch. We need to finish The Wilds." Alycia giggled as I headed over to the couch, setting her down gently.

"Blanket?" I question.

"Acceptable."

"Snacks?"

"Necessary."

"Drinks?"

"Much needed."

"Now you're just getting greedy." I spoke and heard the giggle that left Alycia as I ventured off to grab the items. I returned shortly after, seeing that she was waiting to put the show on.

"Here you go." I spoke, setting down the snacks and drinks to then cover her up with the blanket. She grabs it, pulling it over her whole body, tucking it under her chin with her hand. I smile as I sit down, placing a pillow in my lap and patting it. Alycia smiles at me before laying down on the pillow and putting on The Wilds. I kiss her head, slowly stroking my fingers through it.

A/N: Yes, the update is finally here! I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a while. It's become more hard to be motivated and to write my ideas in the book along with trying not to move too fast with it. I am also writing a new book! Probably a bad idea to write two at once but this book has been on my mind for a while. "Love In The Dark" is out now. You can find information about it in the description and in the chapters. Motivation is especially becoming harder when people are asking for updates. Seriously guys, I'm trying :). I hope you enjoy it. Y/N and Alycia had a cute touchy feely moment in the end there. Remember to eat something and drink water. ♾🖤
