"I promise, you look fine."

Alycia lets out a disgruntled noise, frustrated with her choice of clothes.

"Listen, love, if you don't decide soon, we'll be late." I wrap my hands around the brunette from behind, sighing.

She sighs, rolling her eyes. Alycia lolls her head to the side of my shoulder, looking up at me with a tilt to her eyebrows.

I chuckle, leaning forward to kiss pouty lips. Humming, I pull back to open my eyes. Alycia's hooded gaze has my stomach erupting in butterflies.

"Mm..anymore of that and I'll have second thoughts about going to that panel.." Smirking, I take her hand and pull back, leading us out of my room.

"Your chariot awaits!" I giggle, keeping my apartment door open for Alycia. She gives me a a curt smile and walks to the elevator. "This should be fun.." Alycia sighs, turning to me as I walk towards her.

"What's your spirit animal Alycia?" A fan asks, the crowd filling with giggles at all having the same thought.

"Definitely a raccoon.." I speak quietly into the microphone, smirking as I watch the brunette gawk at me, her eyes full of mischief.

"No, it is not a raccoon.. I'd say.. a squid." She giggled towards everyone, smiling brightly.

"I could see it," I take a sip of my water. "You've got the big head of one."

The crowd fills with laughter and I find myself joining in. I look to the Australia's eyes and immediately stop laughing, my own eyes going wide, which fuels the crowds laughter.

"I uh..I mean, they're cute, yeah, that's a common trait you guys share." Alycia hums at the comment and looks back towards the crowd.

"We've got room for one more question before the panel ends, you, in the red shirt." The host says out to the crowd, pointing at a young woman in a crimson red shirt.

"Hi," she mumbled sweetly, clearly anxious.

"Hello!" Alycia smiles, reassuring the young girl.

"Well er, we're sure you guys are aware of the rumors going around...did Y/n really stop that guy that hurt you?" She fiddles with her shirt as she finishes the question.

My hand quickly finds Alycia's under the table, looking towards her quickly. Her face has paled slightly and I look away, back towards the microphone where the girl stood.

There's a pregnant pause before Alycia chooses to speak. "Well, er, yes, in a way, Y/n did help, absolutely.." She chooses vaguely, which I don't blame her for. How had people already found out about that? It happened nearly a week ago, perhaps there was a bystander that wrote something on it.

The host quickly closes the panel and I stand quickly, gripping Alycia's hand tightly in mine. She stands and I pull her closer with our connected hands, my eyebrows creasing. "Are you okay?" I mumble. The brunette gives me a small smile and nods.

I give her a small smile back and turn around, leading her out of the room.

I pull back my chair, setting down my drink and taking a seat in front of Alycia.

We're at a small café, it was cute and more secluded so we decided it would be best to sit and relax a bit here.

"Are you sure you're alright?" I break the silence.

Alycia places her hands over mine, smiling, and yet again I'm lost in it. My eyes drift across her face, finding it harder to drag themselves away from her lips. She smirks and after a moment I'm aware I completely missed her response.

"I'm sorry er- what?" I can feel my face heat up. "I said yes, I am, you shouldn't worry so much but I appreciate it." I look at her with a knowing smile, turning my hands over to hold hers. "You know I always will." Too much for my own good, but I'm an over thinker so, it's virtually impossible to not worry.

"You think too loudly sometimes.." She lifts a hand off of mine, taking her drink in it and sipping it carefully.

"You think too loudly sometimes.." I mock, playfully rolling my eyes. "Oh, you think you're funny huh?" Her smirk returns.

I lean forward, a smirk taking over my features as well. "Very." I go to sip my own drink, looking at her over the cup.

I hear her let out a small chuckle and I smile as I put my drink back down. "Come on, ready to walk around for as long as your heart desires?" I stand, pushing my chair in and adjusting my jacket.

"Or until the flashy lights find us." Alycia shrugs, standing as well.

I take her hand, leading her outside with my drink in my other hand. We begin walking on the sidewalk and I turn my head to her. "So, where to? We could just..walk back to my apartment?" Alycia let's out a displeased noise at that. "Walking is for losers." I open my mouth, ready to come back with my rebuttal but she beats me to it.

"I guess that means we're both losers then.." She pulls me closer to her, releasing my hand to put her arm around my waist. My face heats at the sudden act and butterflies erupt in my stomach.

"I er..thought that er..we weren't public..?" I look to her hesitantly.

"We could be whatever you want to be, Y/n. I just want you." She smiles. Her smile falters a bit. "Is this okay?" She asks, voice full of concern. I nod and smile, gently stopping us in front of a park.

"Care to walk around there? I heard it looks super pretty at night." I bite my lip, bouncing on my toes.

Her eyes drag down to my lip, back to my eyes, and back down to my lips. "Can I kiss you? You're kind've making it hard not to want to.." She mumbles out.

I place my hand against her cheek, pulling her in and stopping a hair's length apart. "You are such a loser." I giggle and she grips my waist, pulling me closer to her and sealing our lips together.
