Unlocked Passion

Chapter 24

Olivia's Thoughts: 

"So, it's official. I go back to work tomorrow. And I'll be honest, I'm really excited to go back and do what I love but part of me is hesitant. I just been so used to being home for a while that well now, I think I have mommy instincts. I think about Kiara and her needs. What if I'm not home and I'm not feeding her? Or I'm not there changing her diaper? Or I'm not there to make her laugh? Those are the questions I might think about every time I'm at work. Hopefully I won't feel so cautious because I got Grace at the house doing God's work."

It was the night before Olivia going back to work and Olivia and Grace were laughing in the living room eating dinner with wine. They was enjoying themselves. 

"Wait, so Spencer and Q really did peed their pants until they was 15?" Olivia asks, laughing. Grace laughs. "Yes. I couldn't believe it. They knew potty training but I don't know why they couldn't hold it in." Liv chuckles. She then makes a worried expression. 

"You ok?" Grace asks. Liv sighs. "Honestly no." Grace nods. "It's just that since I go back to work tomorrow. I won't be here for Kiara. And I'm not saying that you won't be here and do your absolute best because you are a godsend..." Grace chuckles. Liv continues. "But.. it's just that me being cautious about my daughter is going to affect me working, you know?" Grace nods, understanding. She could actually relate to this. 

"Yeah, I get it. You have a kid now. And you going back to work is going to make you have mommy instincts. And that's ok. It's completely normal. We all worry about our children everyday. As we should because we just can't help it." Liv nods, listening to Grace's advice. 

"I had this same feeling with Spencer and Q. Their father wasn't around as much so I couldn't get anyone to watch my sons. I had to work so I needed to think of a plan quick. I called my mother and instantly she was a miracle. Whenever I would be at work, I would always think about my kids and how they are doing. Hell, I would call my mom or the kids to make sure. But the more I realized that they're in the right hands, most of my worry washed off me. So, it's going to be all fine. Kiara is going to be blessed that I am here."

Liv nods and smiles, glad that she wasn't the only one who felt the same way. Now that she has listened to Grace's advice, she is calm now. She doesn't have to worry as much anymore. 

"Thank you Grace. I really do love and appreciate you being here. You really are a really great friend." Grace smiles and gives Liv a hug. "Aw, thank you baby. I appreciate it." They let go and they eat. While they eat, Liv thinks of a plan. 

"Ok, so I have a question." Liv saids. Grace becomes interested. "Yeah?"

"So, Spencer is going to come home soon and you know.. me and Spencer haven't had sex in a while..." Grace chuckles and face palms. Liv gets embarrassed. She never thought she would have to ask Spencer's mother to give her and her son privacy. "Do you mind if...?

"It's ok Liv. You do what you want to do. Just know that I'm wearing headphones. I'll have the baby monitor here if Kiara needs something, ok?" Grace saids. Liv nods and smiles. "Ok. Thank you so much. Wow. Now I'm a little embarrassed that I asked you that." Grace smiles. "It's ok Liv. You deserve it. You need it after everything you've been through right?" Liv nods. 

"Yep." 

After their talk, they hear the door opening. They turn to see Spencer walking in. Liv gets happy and runs to him since she missed him so much. She jumps into his arms. Spencer gets surprised as he didn't expect this from Olivia. "Hey baby! I missed you!" Liv saids, while holding Spencer. Spencer chuckles at her cuteness. "Hey baby, I missed you too! Wow, did not expect this much love coming home." They both chuckle and they both passionately kiss. 

Liv looks at Spencer while biting her lip. Spencer smirks. "Why are you looking at me like that?" Spencer asks in a sexy smooth voice. Liv slightly moans before saying: "Well, you know we haven't had sex in a while right?" Spencer nods. "Mm-hmm..." 

"Well, I can't wait anymore daddy, I want you now..." Liv saids seductively. Spencer bites his lips and drops his suitcase, still holding Liv. "Yes, ma'am. You don't know how long I've been waiting.. come here.." Spencer then carries Liv to their bedroom, completely ignoring his mom. "Hey Ma..." Spencer saids, walking away with Liv. Grace chuckles. "Hey baby..." 

While Liv and Spencer do their business, Grace has on headphones as she looks into the baby monitor. She sees colors and realizes that Kiara is in need. Grace walks into Kiara's room and sees that Kiara is crying. While she picks up Kiara, Grace sees the wall shaking. She chuckles. 

Grace's Thoughts: 

"Damn, my son must be doing God's work with Olivia."

Grace takes Kiara downstairs to feed her while Liv and Spencer have their private moment. After some time goes by, Liv and Spencer pant next to each other after they had their long awaited sex. Liv smiles at Spencer as she gives him a kiss. 

"Mmm, that was amazing baby. Worth the wait." Liv saids. Spencer smiles. He was glad too. He needed it. "Hell yeah it was worth it. It's been so long." It gets quiet for a few seconds before Spencer asks a question. "Hey babe?" Liv looks at him. "Yeah?" 

"Are you ready to go back to work?" 

"Yeah, I am. I mean.. part of me wants to stay here and watch over Kiara but knowing she's in the right hands, I don't have to worry as much. Plus I miss doing business with you." Spencer smiles at her honest answer. He gives her a kiss. "I miss you too." 

They kiss again for a few seconds before Spencer stops. "Did my mom hear us?" Liv laughs. "I'm pretty sure she saw the wall shake. It's ok. She already knew about this. And don't worry, Kiara's fine. She had the baby monitor." Spencer nods and smiles. 

"Ok, that's good. Now.. how am I going to explain this to her in the morning?" Spencer asks. Liv laughs as they enjoy the rest of their night. 

Finally, after so long, Olivia is happy. She doesn't feel stressed or overwhelmed as she was before. She has a maid and is already friends with her. Kiara is going to be well taken care of while she's at work. So, to her, everything was coming together.
