Chapter 31

"AH! Fuck!" Mia screams out while in the passenger's seat of Q's car. Q is driving as fast to the hospital as he possibly can. They are about to experience parenthood in just a few minutes. That depends on how fast Q could drive to the hospital. Mia was panting and screaming in pain as she was feeling intense contradictions. 

"Q, hurry your ass up! I felt like Madison is coming out of me! Ah!" Mia exclaims. Q is hilariously panicking as he tries to calm down himself and his girlfriend. "Just hang on baby, we're five minutes away! We're almost here baby! Try to hang on..." Mia looks at him angrily. Q quickly looks at her before looking back at the road. 

"What do you think I'm doing?!" Mia saids annoyed. Q becomes silent. He stares at the road. "Sorry... baby..." He saids, calmly. Mia sighs, calming down even though she can't. She holds his hand, smiling. "I'm sorry. It's just that.. I'm in SO MUCH PAIN! Ah!" Mia is squeezing Q's hand, making it hard for him to drive. Q grunts in pain. "Ow... ow...baby... you're hurting me...."

A few hours go by and Mia and Q welcomed their healthy baby girl, Madison. After she was taken care of, the doctor gives Madison to Mia. Mia and Q both cry, as they witness greatness in their hands. Madison was sleeping on Mia's arms. Mia sniffles and chuckles, not believing that her daughter is really here. "Hi Maddy. It's Mommy. It's.....Mommy..." She saids, tearfully. 

"Baby, she is so beautiful." Q saids, being emotional. Seeing his first child with the love of his life is truly a special moment. Mia smiles looking at Q. She gives him a kiss on the lips. "I know. We really did it. This is really it. We're really parents..." Mia saids, a tear falling down. Q's tears fall down as he sees his own family right in front of his face. 

Spencer and Olivia walk in, already in awe seeing Madison for the first time. Mia and Q both smile at them, now even more happy that they're in the same predicament as their family members. Liv and Spencer walk up to Mia. Mia smiles. "Do you wanna hold her?" She asks. Liv tearfully nods as she picks up Madison for the first time. Spencer comes close behind Liv, looking at their newborn niece. "Hey Madison. It's your aunt and uncle, Spencer." Liv saids to Madison. Madison makes cute sleeping noises as Liv and Spencer smile at her beauty. 

"Mommy and Daddy are going to be great parents towards you. And we'll be the best relatives ever! You have got my word on that." Mia and Q smile at Liv holding Madison. Spencer gets a turn holding Madison. "Hey Madison, it's your best uncle here. Um... just know that we love you and we are always going to be here for you! Remember that! Also, if you're going to sleep next to your parents, sleep next to Mia because Q snores..." Q gives Spencer an un-amusing look. They all laugh. "Haha, very funny..." Q saids, slightly annoyed. 

After some time, Spencer and Olivia leave the room to give the parents some privacy with their daughter. Mia tears up again looking at her daughter. 

"Hey Madison, can I tell you something? I know you're a baby but I want you to remember something, ok?..." Madison opens her eyes, moving around a little bit and making cute noises. Mia chuckles at her cuteness. "I want you to remember this. You are going to grow up and live your life. And we're not going to be here forever but wherever you are, just remember that me and your father will always be a part of you. Even if you hate us at any moment, just know that we will always love you..." Madison smiles, looking at her mother. Q smiles at both of his girls, truly loving and appreciating them being in their lives. 

Mia looks at Q, waiting for him to say something. "You have anything to say baby?" Mia asks. Q shakes his head, smiling at Madison. "Nope. You took the words right out of my mouth." Mia smiles, looking back at Madison. Q caresses Madison's cheek. "I got you, Madison. Always..." Mia smiles at this precious feeling before feeling something unusual. Mia starts to feel pain. 

"Um.. baby..." Mia saids, worried. Q looks at her, worried as well. He feels that something isn't right. As well as Mia. He picks up Madison as Mia is holding her chest. "Baby, what's wrong?!" Mia starts to hyperventilate. "Call the doctor. I don't feel good.. I don't feel...." Q is freaking out. He doesn't know what's going on. He tries to understand. "Baby, tell me what's wrong. Are you ok? What's happening?!" Mia tries to speak but she can't. She's having trouble breathing. 

Mia rolls her eyes and starts to have a seizure. Q widens her eyes, still holding Madison. He is scared. "Oh god! Mia!" He yells out before running out of the hospital room to call a doctor. Spencer and Olivia were sitting in the waiting room when they see Q with a worried face. He is holding Madison. They immediately get worried as they don't see Mia. "Help! Someone please! My girlfriend! She's having a seizure!! Help!" He yells out before three doctors run in to help Mia. Olivia starts to panic the most as that is her best friend. She gets up, running to Q.

"Q, what the hell do you mean she's having a seizure?!" Liv asks, panicking. Q starts to cry. "I don't know. One minute, we were talking to Madison and then the next minute, she struggled to breathe and then...oh god..." Spencer comforts Q and Liv. He is terrified too. But he realized that the family needs to stay strong, for Mia's sake. 

"Hey, look at me. Both of you." Q and Liv look at Spencer, tears falling down their faces. "Mia is going to be ok. God is not ready for her yet. She still has many reasons to live. And we're not going to think negatively. I wanna hear you say, that Mia is going to make it. I wanna hear you two." Spencer saids, tearing up. Q and Liv tearfully repeat Spencer's words. "Again." Spencer commands. They repeat it again. They repeat it two more times before getting quiet. 

Madison starts to cry and they all look at her. Q sniffles, bouncing her daughter up and down. "Don't worry, Mommy is going to be ok. I know she is. She wouldn't leave us Madison." He gives Madison a kiss. "She wouldn't..." 

After a few minutes, a doctor walks out, calling out Mia's name. "Mia Davis?" Q, Spencer and Olivia run up to the doctor, hoping for something good to come out. "Hey, doc. How's my baby? Is she going to be ok? We want her to come home..." Q saids, rocking Madison while she's sleeping. The doctor sighs and with that reaction, the family knew something was wrong. 

"I am so sorry. She didn't make it..."
