Chapter 4

Lunch break was over and it was time for Olivia and Amelia to head back. They walked back to the office and Amelia went back to her desk, with a worried expression. She had a good time with Olivia but the encounter with Q made her think about a lot. Amelia didn't want anything bad happening to Liv nor Spencer. She didn't want her hurt if Q ever found out about Liv. Liv looked at Amelia slightly worried. She noticed her behavior was weird after lunch.

"Hey, are you ok? You seemed off after lunch." Olivia asks, genuinely worried. Amelia smiles at her, not wanting to think about or mention Q anymore after today. She just wanted to get back to work. "Yep, all good. Don't worry Liv. I'll see you later." Olivia nods. "Ok. Oh.. um... did you have the other bag of food I had for Spencer?"

Amelia nods and gives it to her. Olivia was kind enough to order food for Spencer when he told her he didn't eat much during work. She felt bad so she just wanted to be generous. Amelia looks at her smirking. "What's that face for?" Olivia asks.

"Nothing. It's just really sweet that you were willing to buy food for him. You must really want the dick bad." Olivia playfully rolls her eyes. "Ha ha very funny Amelia. It's not that. I just cared about him eating that's all. Nothing more." Amelia denies this. "Sure."

"Anyway, I'm going back to work which you should be doing and not worrying about me and my boss ok?" Olivia saids. Amelia chuckles. "Yeah sure and your.. boss... mmm.. oh yeah Spencer..." Amelia replies, teasing Olivia with fake moaning noises. Olivia rolls her eyes again and walks to Spencer's office, seeing him looking over her paperwork. She smiled, knowing he actually read her ideas. Spencer looked up and smiled.

"Ah, Ms. Baker, just the woman I was looking for. Your ideas are really good. Very precise actually." Spencer saids, impressed with her work. Olivia smiles, appreciating it. "Wow.. um.. thank you so much sir.. I honestly thought you would've hated it."

"Oh no Olivia, I knew you were capable of coming up with great ideas. You've got an amazing mind. I'm very impressed." Olivia blushes at his comment. She thanks him. After a few seconds of silence, Olivia speaks up. She clears her throat. "Um.. here's your lunch." She gives him a bowl with a hamburger and fries. Spencer was confused.

"I didn't recommend any food."

"I know but since you told me you don't really eat that much while you're working, I thought of being generous and offering you food. Is that ok?" Olivia saids, waiting for a response. Spencer was honestly flattered. He didn't expect for someone to actually care for him. Whenever he would say to previous assistants that he didn't want food, they simply listened. But with Olivia, it felt different to him. He actually felt appreciated because in all honestly, until he got home, he was starving. The only time he could eat is during breakfast and sometimes dinner. If he misses dinner to a busy schedule, he would just bring a small snack with him, not making it a big deal. But right now, actually him having this big of a meal, felt like a big deal to him.

"Um.. wow.. um thank you so much." He opens the bowl to eat the food. "Wow. This food tastes amazing."

"I know. My best friend Mia owns the restaurant down the street from here. Mia's-

"Magnificent Grill. I past by it most of the time but I actually never went in there. She cooks food as well?"

"Yes she does. My girl is a pro chef. Hence where I learned how to cook." Spencer was surprised. He didn't think that someone close to her would teach her how to cook. "Wow.. that's really cool. If you don't mind, I would like to meet her some day." Olivia was surprised.

"Really?"

"I mean not like right now. But in the near future. She seems like a really nice and hard-working person.. just like you." Olivia blushes. "Thank you. And Mia is too." They both smile at each other.
