Up there is a picture of Christina.

I start eating some salad first and put an enormous amount of ranch dressing on top. I eat it in under two minutes. I put a plateful of macaroni on my dish and eat it.That food was delicious. I'm actually regretting about not wanting to go to the Johnson's house for dinner. I take a chocolate chip cookie a nibble a piece of it off. The dinner was going more smoothly than I thought. I thought there was going to be lots of fighting and bad manners but the dinner went actually normal.

Me: So far so good. It's going more smoothly than I thought.

Kim: That's good.

Chrissy: Is the food good?

Of course, they would ask about food. It was like the only thing on their mind.

Me: Surprisingly it's delicious.

Kim: Bring me some leftovers.

Me: There are none.

Kim: You guys are so fat.

Chrissy: lol

Me: But the food was amazing.

It was amazing, I didn't expect the food was going to be that good. Suddenly I hear somebody calling my name several times. It's Eli's dad. I put away my phone quickly.

" Yes," I answer him.

" So, how was your first day of school?," he asks. This is the first time I went out to dinner with another family and they actually wanted to know about me.

" It was good." It was the same answer I gave to Chrissy's mom and it was the same answer I was going to give to everybody else who asked me how my day was at school because I did not feel like explaining how my day went to anybody.

" I heard you sit next to Eli in trigonometry."  I guess Eli told his dad that I sit next to him.

" Yeah," I reply and then sigh.

" You know Eli is very good in math,"he says and then takes a sip of his water.

" Dad," Eli says. Eli Johnson is good at math. This was something the world needed to know. I needed to tell everybody this. I grin .He probably didn't want me knowing that he was actually good at something in school because he didn't want me telling everybody even though I didn't get it because to me being good at something in school was a great advantage.

"It's not embarrassing to be good at math," his dad explains to Eli.

" Math isn't Amber's best subject," my mother blurts. I wish I could tell my mom to shut her mouth but If I did she would probably ground me. Parents had really big mouths.

" Maybe Eli could tutor her," his dad replies. No No No way was Eli going to tutor me. That was something I didn't want. No! I can't have Eli tutoring me.

" Sure.. That is a great idea," my mother says while smiling at me. Great idea? What kind of great idea was that? That was not a very great idea. All Eli would do was make fun of me or brag about how hot he is.

" I heard they have a test on Friday," he says. Where did he hear that? I did not hear that, it must have been when I was texting Chrissy in class. Eli must be very close to his dad to tell him all this stuff.

" So, can he come to our house after school tomorrow?," she asks.

" No, I have band practice," Eli says. Thank the Lord! He's busy.

" Nonsense, you could skip it," his father says. No! He can't skip it. You can't skip something you're deeply devoted to. No!

" Okay, so it is a deal," my mother says. I wanted to say no it's not a deal but I didn't.
