part thirteen

*elena's pov*

I hear the door open and look to my left to see the person's shoes "ayo hobi" I call out "hey, why are you under a car?" He asks "Trying to see what's wrong with it, so wanna hand me that wrench?" I ask and hold out my hand and he sets it on my palm "So, has jimin talked to you at all lately?" He asks

"Uh, no. How come?" I ask but he remains silent "is everything okay?" I ask and he shakes his head slightly "Yup." he says "Was he supposed to talk to me about something?" I ask "I think so. Maybe he just hasn't gotten to it yet" he says and I push myself out from underneath the car "Do you know what it's about?" I ask and his eyes widen "Nope. Not at all. I gotta go so have fun." He says before going back inside. I stare at the door confused and scratch my head "Hm. weird."

*bella's pov*

"Kim Taehyung!!" I yell and walk around the kitchen "What did he do now?" Jin asks "He's hiding from me because I said I wanted to put his hair in pigtails" I say and he laughs "have you seen him?" I ask "what's in it for me?" He asks and I roll my eyes "I'll clean your room or something" I say "it's already clean." He says "I'll clean the house" I say "Me and Namjoon cleaned it yesterday" he says and I sigh frustratedly "I'll cook dinner. For the rest of the week" I say "he's in the pantry" he says "thank you" I say "my pleasure" he says before walking upstairs

*Jimin's pov*

I grab a towel from the closet downstairs before going to the upstairs bathroom "Wait, before you take a shower we need to talk." hobi says and I look at him confused "okay what's up?" I ask "I'm not gonna force you to tell her. But you should tell her." He says and I roll my eyes "I can't. It's just too much. I mean, we're already such good friends and I don't wanna ruin anything. So no. I'm not gonna tell her." I say

"Jimin, buddy, best friend. You know I love and care about you but you're being stupid." He says "Look hobi. I'm sorry me deciding not to tell her doesn't play into the way you want things to go but that's just how it is sometimes. So i'm gonna take a shower now." I say and go into the bathroom before shutting the door

*Koras pov*

I lean against the wall and cross my arms as hobi turns around "Did I just hear what I think I just heard?" I ask and he turns around slowly "what did you hear?" He asks "Pretty much everything. So who's the girl?" I ask "No one." He says and I scoff "Don't bother trying to hide it, cause I have a pretty good guess and I'm almost never wrong so might as well just spill it." I say "That's not my place to tell. So if you really wanna know ask Jimin." He says and walks past me

"is it bella?" I ask but he doesn't say anything as he continues to walks down the hall "Oh that'd be perfect. Poor guy helps his best friend get the girl he's in love with, because he just can't break it to his best bud that he's in love with her-" I say but he cuts me off "it's not bella." He says "so it's elena." I say and he sighs "kora. Just leave it alone." He says and I scoff "whatever." I say

*a couple hours later*

*elena's pov*

I walk inside and brush my hands off onto my shirt "the car should be fixed now, if one of you want to take it for a test drive" I say "I'll take it for a drive" Namjoon says and I toss him the keys "I'll go with" Jeongguk says and they leave

I turn around and flinch "sorry, I didn't mean to scare you" Jimin says and chuckles "It's fine but stop popping up out of nowhere" I say and push his shoulder slightly "I'll keep that in mind next time" he says and I smile slightly as we sit in silence for a while "Well im gonna go take a shower." I say before walking past him and up the stairs

*Bella's pov*

"Wow. That was sad to watch" I say and Jimin jumps "How long have you been sitting there?" He asks and I yawn "well I was trying to sleep but when joon got up I woke up and then you and elena started being weird so I watched. Not like in a creepy way but in more of an intrigued way." I say and he shifts uncomfortably in his spot "holy shit. do you have a thing for elena?" I ask and he puts his hands in his pockets

*Jimin's pov*

"holy shit. do you have a thing for elena?" She asks and I puts my hands in my pockets, not really knowing how to answer that, so I go with what pops into my head first "What? Me? and Elena? Nope, I don't. We're just friends, that's all." I say and bella looks behind me, her eyes widening. "What?" I ask and turn around to see elena standing there with a hurt expression on her face. "elena." I say and she looks anywhere and everywhere but at me. "elena I can explain-" I say but stop when she looks me in the eyes "You don't have to explain yourself jimin. we're just friends" she says before grabbing a towel and walking back upstairs.

"Well that happened." Bella says and I stare at the stairs "Jimin. Are you okay?" She asks "uh...no" I say and she gets up "Come here" she says and hugs me and I hug her back "I'm really sorry. I shouldn't have asked." She says and I close my eyes "it's my fault not yours." I say and sigh "Do you really like her though?" She asks "...I do." I say "tell her that. you never know, maybe she feels the same." She says "what if she doesn't? I'll look like an idiot. And our whole friendship will be awkward. I don't want that to happen." I say

"Jimin, if you're afraid things will change don't be. Fears like that will make it so you never do anything. Actions come with consequences and different results. Nothing's gonna stay the same forever, and you don't really have all the time in the world to tell her how you feel. If you wait too long to tell her she'll have already moved on, and you'll regret not telling her sooner. That's why I had to tell taehyung. Even with the possibility that he might not feel how I felt. I swear everything felt lighter after I told him. In that moment nothing else really mattered. Not even figuring out if he felt the same mattered. Just the simple fact that he knew is all I cared about." She says

"i don't know." I say and she sighs "Tell her whenever you're ready or never tell her. That's all up to you." She says
