The Prince and the Frog {SONADOW}

Chapter 11

(Gives up on making title names)

As the trio floated along the bayou, Sonic began to speak out of boredom, "Hey Al? What's your name anyway?" he asked the gator. The large male looked up and snorted, "Knuckles." The two transformed males just stared at him dumbfounded. Then Shadow just said, "Not even gonna ask." Sonic sighs as he looks into the water. "I hope I can transform back soon..." Knuckles glanced up and asked, "Why's that?" Sonic looked down at the reddish male and smiled sadly, "I'm trying to buy this old building so I can make my dream restaurant..." Shadow's ears perked at that but didn't say anything else.

Knuckles rose an eye ridge as he looked up at the blue amphibian that sat on his back. 'Seems Mobian...' the gator thought as they floated along.

Meanwhile back at the Mansion...

The disguised prince and Amy were having a good conversation together. Silver was enjoying himself talking to the pink furred female. Amy has completely fallen for the prince and even apologized about what had occured the night before reassuring him that the incident was a first and would never happen again. Silver calmed her nerves letting her know that anything can happen. They continued to chat until Amy noticed something. "Um, Prince Shadow?" Silver smiled at her and responded, "Yes Ms. Rose?" She smiled and pointed to his chest. "Your chest fur...did it just puff up?" Silver's eyes twitched. He quickly turned away to check not only his chest fluff but the amulet.

The blood was draining.

His panic began to arise.

He turned back around smiling at the girl. "Oh I'm so sorry that was indecent of me. Where I'm from, we tend to try and show off like colorful birds when wanting to court instinctually. I mean no offense Miss." He stood as he said this with his smile falling into an apologetic frown while bowing to her with the apology in tow. In truth, they're people who once did so, but now they don't because they now know that it was silly. So it wasn't necessarily a lie. But a half truth. There was nothing instinctual about it. But she doesn't know that and she never will. Plus it was a quick cover up.

But if he wants to wed her quickly before he turns back, he needed to be quick. So with that in mind, he grabbed her hands gently and said, "Miss. Rose, may I ask that you make me the happiest man in the world and become my princess?" Amy gasped and quickly hugged him shouting yes over and over again not once questioning his quick proposal. While this happened, his golden eyes returned. She quickly pulled away and ran off to her father to tell him the good news and shouting that it'll be a Mardi Gras wedding. Once out of sight, Silver had returned to normal.

Scourge came out of a bush and looked into the amulet. He growled under his breath at the fact that they still need the damned prince. Silver nervously looked at Scourge and spoke, "What are we gonna do now?! I can't transform back!" Scourge smacked the panicking hog upside his head to shut him up. He gave a heavy sigh.

"It looks like I'm gonna have to get help from the other side again...and I have a feeling they will NOT be pleased..."

(Author's Note: Sorry that this chapter is so short. Was trying to finding stopping points for each chapter so I apologize if some chapters are shorter then others. Also I'm still working on the covers. And the other two stories at have yet to be posted. But I managed to at least have some chapters for this story and the other one. So don't worry I haven't forgotten and I'm sorry for giving you half of what I promised. The covers are drawn by me so it takes longer ^^;. And I have been proof reading my chapters too. I even edited the last chapter some when I noticed some errors with it that I just couldn't take much longer. So if you wanna look at it that have at it. Just know that I only fixed some grammatical errors and such. And that's all for now!)
