The Prince and the Frog {SONADOW}

Chapter 5- The Ball

The day has ended and the night grants it's starry presence. During this lovely night was a masquerade ball or party that was underway and was coming to an close. There were plenty of stragglers left for the night to continue but one Mobian wasn't really happy about it. 

"Give me that napkin quick!" Exclaimed the pink clad hedgehog who was currently snatching the napkins off the buffet table and stuff them in her dress quickly while her eyes darted around as though she might be caught. The only one to notice was her dear friend Sonic who wore a deep blue vest over his bare chest and dark pants. He shook his head smiling. "It's getting late!" Any said as she continues to look through the crowd. Sonic just shook her shoulder to reassure her. "Don't worry Ames! There are still some stragglers left here-" "My prince is never coming! I never get what I want!" She dashes up the steps and then stops her sobbing. "Maybe I should wish harder." She claimed. She looked up to the starry night and begged the North Star. When Sonic caught on to what his friend was doing, he shook his head disapprovingly. "Now Ames, you can't just wish on a ball of hot air and expect it to-" He was soon interrupted by this the announcer. "Ladies and Gentleman! His royal Highness. Prince Shadow!" And enter in the black hedgehog. Sonic has to admit, the guy is handsome but something didn't seem right about him. 

But his friend seemed really content now that her make up was magically covered up and her quills fixed back to the way they were. Sonic looked back up the star as Amy snatched her crown back and went to greet the prince. The music was switched from it's energetic feel to a more calmer and more gentler music that fits the theme of the dance that Amy and the prince displayed. 

Sonic smiled at you friend as he went back to his station with the buffet. He was soon greeted by the crocodile and chameleon themselves. 

"Oh hey Vector! And Espio! I can't wait to sign those papers you both brou-" "You we're out bid." Vector said bluntly. "Wait...what?" Sonic asked not believing what he heard. Sonic then began to laugh. "Ok ok! This is a joke right?" He asked and as the crocodile ate, Espio shook his head. "You have until Wednesday to come up with more than that or else-" "You can kiss that piece of shit good-bye." Vector said. With that said, they walked away. "Hey! Come back you-" he grabbed on to Vector's tail who smacked the hedgehog with it sending him to the buffet table sending food every where. Sonic began trying to clean himself off when he heard a giggle. "Sonic! Now's the time to give that prince those man catching..." She trailed off as she saw her friend covered in food. "What happened?" She asked. 

Afraid she might be upset about the buffet table, Sonic began to stuttered out an explanation but Amy stopped him. "Oh you poor honey..." She cooed as she helped Sonic up. She shouted to the prince telling him that she'll be right back. She lead him to her room and gave Sonic a change of clothes. "Here are a change of clothes. Go get changed." As Sonic changed, Amy gushed over the prince and when Sonic came out, she looked at him in awe. "My.. you look like a prince yourself. Now..tonight...our dreams are finally coming true." She said patting Sonic's shoulder with a smile. "Well! Back to seducing that hunk! Wish me luck hon!" She dashes out of the room leaving a disheartened hedgehog. Sonic walked to the balcony and gazed at the stars. He looked around quickly and sighs. "The fuck am I doing but here goes nothing..." He said as he too begged to the North star. Once finished, he turned to find a black and red streaked frog. Ignoring the strange coloring he smirked. "What? I'm taking a guess you want a kiss?" He chuckled at his own joke until he heard a response.

"I wouldn't dare touch my lips on yours Faker."
