November 1st 2009 (Mystic Falls) Third Persons POV

It's been a month since Serena and Dakota left Mystic Falls. They called their respective twins once a week. Today is Stefan and Dakota's 162nd birthday. Serena and Dakota are in New York celebrating with Lee. While Lexi went to collect Stefan. Dakota hoped that Lexi could convince Stefan to join them in New York for the Bon Jovi concert.

Right now Lexi and Stefan are in his room catching up. "Stop. I don't know, some freak shot at me with wooden bullets. I bail in under sixty. And why is a news reporter hunting vampires?" Lexi asks him.

"I don't know who knows about us. That guy did. There could be others. Do me a favor, while you're here, please be careful" Stefan tells her.

"Why stay? I'm headed to New York to meet Dakota and Serena for the weekend" Lexi tells him. "Bon Jovi in the Garden. 'Wanted dead or alive', it's our theme song. It'll be a blast" she states.

"Do you think he would actually remember us? That was a pretty crazy weekend huh?" Stefan asks her chuckling.

"We can make him remember us. Come on! Let's go spend the weekend with your sisters" Lexi tells him. "I mean, what's keeping you here?" she asks him.

"I told you, her name is Elena" he tells her.

"Let's hope she's better than the last girl you got all sprung over" Lexi says holding up Stefan's photo of Katherine.

"You didn't even know Katherine" he says taking the photo off of her.

"Cause if I did I'd kick her ass. Little bitch. Speaking of...where's Damon?" Lexi asks him.

"Inflicting misery somewhere. You gonna be okay here alone? 'Cause I got some things I gotta take care of" he tells her.

"It's not exactly like I can go anywhere. And you and Damon are the only ones with these nifty little daylight rings. I have a mood ring from '75! Trade ya?" she asks.

"Doesn't work that way and you know it" he reminds her.

"Yeah" she says sighing in defeat.

"Hey Lex. I'm really glad that you came here" he tells her.

"What are we doing for your birthday? You're obviously not celebrating with Dakota. It's not everyday a guy turns a hundred and sixty-two years old" Lexi tells him.

"Really?" he asks with a groan.

"Oh yeah" she says smiling.

(New York) Dakota's POV

Lee went to get us more shots. We're at the Bon Jovi concert. Lexi hasn't arrived yet, which is strange. She said she'd meet us at the entrance with Stefan. But no sign of them. "Selfie" I tell Serena and take out my phone. I take a selfie of us and post on on Facebook. When my phone starts to ring. "It's Stefan" I tell Serena with a smile.

"Well answer it and find out where Lexi is" she tells me. I nod my head and answer the call.

"Stefan, you and Lexi are missing an amazing concert. By the way, happy 162nd birthday" I tell him.

"Happy birthday to you to Dakota" he states.

"Something wrong? You sound upset" I say concerned.

"Lexi's dead" he tells me and Serena stops dancing beside me.

"What? How?" we demand.

"Damon killed her. To keep the council from finding out about us" he states. "I staked him in the chest, but he's alive" he tells us. "I just thought you both should know Lexi is gone" he adds.

"Thanks for telling us Stefan" I tell him.

"I promise to call again soon. Enjoy the concert" he tells us. Before hanging up. I put my phone away.

"Guess it's just the three of us" Serena states.

"Speaking of, where's Lee? Shouldn't he be back by now? What are we going to say about Lexi?" I ask her.

"I'll handle it" she assures me. "Why don't you continue to enjoy the concert and I'll go see what's taking him so long?" she suggests. I agree and she left.

When she returned. She said Lee had left. "Do you think he heard about Damon killing Lexi? And wants revenge?" I ask her.

"It's possible, but he's smart. He won't do now, he'll wait for Damon to be on his own out of Mystic Falls. I'll keep tabs on Damon, just encase" she tells me. "For now, this is your party weekend. So lets have fun" she states. I agree and we continue to enjoy the Bon Jovi concert.

December 3rd 2009 (Georgia) Serena's POV

Dakota and I were touring North America. We were in Athens when I go news of Damon going to visit Bree at her bar. So I left Dakota to go protect my twin brother. I arrived at dusk and hear someone scream behind the bar. "Damon, no!" the girl shouts and I rush behind the bar. To see Lee standing over my twin pouring gasoline over him.

I snarl and ram into him. I stand over Damon protectively. "You want to kill my twin, you'll have to go through me Lee" I snarl. "I'm older and stronger then you" I remind him.

"He deserves is after what he did to Lexi" he states.

"Lexi was your girlfriend? She told me about you. She said that you were human" the girl states. I notice it's Elena. Great, Dakota won't be happy about this.

"I was" Lee tells her.

"Lexi turned you?" she asks him.

"If you want to be with someone forever, you have to live forever" he states.

"She loved you. She said that, 'When it's real, you can't walk away'" Elena quotes.

"Well, that's a choice you're not going to have to make" he tells her.

"Over my dead body" I tell him flashing my eyes.

"I'm doing her a favour" he tells pointing at Elena.

"Lexi loved you! And she was good! And that means you're good too. Be better than him. Don't do this. I'm begging you! Please" Elena pleads. He growls, but stands down. "Thank you" she says grateful.

"It wasn't for you" he tells her and leaves.

"You ok brother?" I ask.

"Yeah" he says with a groan as he gets to his feet.

"Good" I say and throw him into a wall. "That's for killing Lexi" I tell him. "Tell Stefan I said hello" I add and go to leave.

"Wait" Elena says. "You knew? Didn't you?" she asks me.

"Knew what?" I ask her.

"About my resemblance to Katherine" she states.

"Why do you think Dakota hated you so much?" I ask her rhetorically. "Know this Elena, if you fool around with both our brothers as she did. You'll die just like her" I tell her and left.
