Know Thy Enemy

Dakota's POV

Somehow Serena and I managed to fall asleep last night. But we were rudely awaken by our twins. "Why did you wake us up?" Serena demands. As we head downstairs.

"Isobel, turned up at the Gilbert house" Stefan states.

"Why is she here?" I ask.

"That was my question, but he refused to answer until we woke you two" Damon states.

"Do you know why Isobel is here Stefan?" Serena asks him.

"I don't know" he answers. "That's what I'm gonna go find out" he adds. Katherine joins us, this time wearing Serena's clothes.

"Buy your own clothes and stop wearing ours" Serena tells her annoyed.

"I have no money" she says with a shrug.

"Then compel someone, and stay out of our closets" I snap.

"I don't think that you should tell her that I'm here" she states changing the subject.

"What? Why?" Stefan asks her.

"It's better if she and John not know that I stayed in town after I got out of the tomb" Katherine states. I roll my eyes and share a look with Serena.

"You're the one in cahoots with them. You made a deal with John that almost got me killed" Damon reminds her.

"I did what I had to get out of the tomb. Now I'm reconsidering my alliance" Katherine states. She goes to leave and Serena blocks her way.

"What do you know Katherine?" she demands.

"I know that I want Klaus dead, which puts me squarely on team you" she states. Then looks at the rest of us. "Besides, if you four ever need me to swap places with Elena again, the less people know that I'm here, the better. Think about it, guys. Be smart" she tells us.

"That actually makes senses" I grumble.

"Tell you what. Why don't you, uh...Call Alaric and let him know that his wife just showed up on his girlfriend's doorstep" Stefan tells Damon before leaving.

"Drink?" Serena asks me.

"Yes, please" I tell her and we head to the study. We get a drink each. Damon soon appears.

"I'm going out" he tells us.

"Where?" Serena asks.

"Earn with the witch and little Gilbert" he states.

"We'll come with you" Serena tells him. As I suddenly get an urge to go somewhere as my phone bings. Alerting me to a text. I read it and sigh.

"Actually, an old friend is in the neighbour hood. I promised them. I'd visit today" I state giving Serena a look.

"Ok, but call" she tells me.

"You two have fun with Bonnie and Jeremy" I tell them. "Can I borrow your bike?" I ask Serena. She nods her head and I left. I drive to the address, I had been given. It's a warehouse.

"Welcome little Salvatore" Klaus says with a smirk.

"Heard Isobel was in town" I state.

"Yep, she's getting me a body to posses. As well as luring Katerina somewhere alone" he states. "Elijah still daggered?" he asks.

"Yes, he is in my family's basement" I tell him.

"Good, he can stay there until after the ritual" he states.

"Which is when?" I ask him.

"The next full moon little Salvatore" he tells me. I nod my head. "You've done very well, I wonder how your brothers will feel when they find out about you and your sister plotting to have Elena killed?" he muses.

"They'd hate us for a long time, but get over it. We're family" I state. "Am I free now?" I ask him.

"Not quite, I think it'd be best to have you as a spy until I am free of my curse" he states.

"I'm back on vervain, so once the time is us on the commands you've given me. I will be free" I remind him.

"True, but maybe I'll go after you sister or brothers if you misbehave" he states.

"No, don't hurt them" I beg. He holds my face in his hands.

"I won't touch them little Salvatore, as long as you behave and spy for me" he tells me.

"I will" I assure him and he smiles. Letting my face go. "Is there anything else you need?" I ask him.

"No, you may go" he tells me.

"Wait, who will you be posing?" I ask him.

"You'll know when you see them" he tells me. "Run along little Salvatore" he tells me. I left and return home. To find only Serena present.

"Where is everyone?" I ask her.

"Stefan is out with Elena like always, Damon is with Jeremy and Bonnie taking them to the site. Katherine is who knows where" she states. I smile. "What?" she asks.

"Klaus, said Isobel would lure her away somewhere alone. I doubt we'll be seeing her again" I tell her. She smiles.

"I think this calls for a celebratory drink" she states. I agree. "You know the first thing I am going to do with Katherine gone?" she asks me. I shrug. "Burn every piece of clothes she touched" she states.

"Same" I say with a chuckle. "You know what that means" I tell her.

"Shopping spree" we say together and laugh.

"I love you and our brothers" I tell her.

"We love you" she tells me.

(Time skip)

So not only does Klaus have Katherine, he has the moonstone. Which Katherine stole before leaving. Isobel is dead. Matt found out about us apparently, but Care made him forget. So we are all safe. I doubt they'll be together much longer.

Anyway Bonnie managed to do the spell and now has the power of a hundred dead witches. Which Katherine doesn't know about, which makes Bonnie our secret weapon. Only, she won't be. If I don't tell Klaus about her, he'd hurt m family. But I'll worry about that tomorrow. Tonight, I will celebrate with my siblings and be happy.
