*Phil POV*
I gazed over at the man lying next to me sleeping peacefully, although I missed his gorgeous brown eyes I don't think anything could make me happier than this sight. The way he was wrapped up in my arms, his soft skin on mine, his soft snores the only noise in the otherwise silent room, the way his lips were stretched slightly into a tiny smile showing he was having a good dream, his forehead wasn't wrinkled up. He looked peaceful. His soft, pulp pink lips leaning against my arm making me shiver slightly at the somehow intimate touch. He was so perfect.
I turned my head away and looked around the room as my thoughts travelled away from him. Well at least they tried.
I thought about our first kiss and how magical it was, how much I loved it.
I thought about the proposal. How his face changed into one of shock when he saw me down on one knee. I couldn't help but smile at that.

It was a fairly cool day and the breeze wasn't enough to make you freeze but it was enough to make you a little chilly. I felt dan lean into my arms as the cool breeze wrapped around him, he looked up at me and smiled before leaning upwards and catching my lips into a quick yet meaningful kiss. I felt the smile on my face grow as I thought about the object in my pocket, now was the perfect time. He got out of my arms and walked to the edge of the ferry.
"Phil! Look! It's so pretty!"
I laughed lightly and hummed in agreement. It was quite beautiful but that wasn't what caught my eyes, however what did was more stunning than anything I could ever imagine. He was starring out across the river, his face lit up in the sunlight, his eyes sparkling and his smile so content you could just see how happy he was in once glance. I looked around quickly and saw no one looking as I went up and stood behind him, pecking his neck and quickly scampering back as I knelt down. He turned slowly.
"Hmmm what's u-"
He stopped mid-sentence. His eyes opening widely and watching my hand as it moved to my jacket and pulled out the black shiny box. My grip on it increased as his eyes slowly traveled upwards to meet my face.
"P-phil... I-I- what's going on ?"
I looked down quickly and giggled nervously at him. I slowly opened the box and drew in a deep breath before looking at him. He stumbled back a bit and caught onto the side of the boat. His mouth hung open.
"Dan, will you marry me ?"
The words I had been desperate to say for so long rolled off of my tongue and left my mouth feeling dry. He didn't move a muscle for a minute making me wonder if he had actually heard me. By now people were looking over at us. Slowly he started blinking before he pinched his arm.
"I'm not dreaming."
I looked up at him with a smile and shook my head.
"No you're awake Dan."
His began smiling again and his eyes began to water.
"Oh my god Phil. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my goodness gracious Phil."
His voice was cracking with so much emotion before he suddenly jumped into my arms.
"YES YES YES OH MY GOD A MILLION TIMES OVER YES!"
I couldn't help but let out a small sigh of relief after he replied. People around us began to applaud as he leant forward and caught my lips in a loving and gentle kiss. He pulled away and looked me in the eyes whilst holding out his hand, I slipped the silver band onto his wedding finger and looked back at him.
"I was worried you were going to say no..."
He looked at me strangely.
"I would of never ever said no Phil."

I felt him stirring in my arms and I couldn't take the smile off of my face. That day had been so perfect, nothing had ever happened to me like that, that's the happiest I ever felt.
"Morning lion"
"Good morning my darling fiancé, how did you sleep ?"
He smiled up at me and tightened his grip around my waist, pulling himself closer to me as I simultaneously tightened my hold on his shoulders, I dipped my head and kissed his face softly.
"I swear you say that just for the hell of it."
"I say it because it makes me happier, you make me happier"
He raised his head out of the crook of my neck that he'd managed to work himself to and looked directly into my eyes.
"Then I guess I should probably stick around."
I smiled at him and captured his lips in a sweet kiss.
"I'd greatly appreciate it sunshine, it's greatly appreciate it."
He snuggled back into my body and whispered into my neck.
"I love you babe."
"I love you too Dan, now and forever"
