Red woke up and blinked away her bluriness, looking over to the bed side cabinet she spotted a pill bottle , sitting up she quickly popped it open and took 2 of the pain pills. Instant relief was felt from her side making her sigh in relief before realising how empty the room was

"Claire?" Red called before hearing footsteps in the hall , the door creaked open revealing the younger cousin

"Oh hey! You're up. When I got back you were out cold so I just left the bottle beside you" she explained sitting at the bottom of the bed. Red had now fully say up and stretched out her arms with a yawn.

"How long was I asleep?"

"About 2 hours , it's close to dinner time"

"Oh , is papyrus back?"

"No not yet. Sans messaged your phone though and said he would be bringing food from grillbys....I messaged back saying ok and then he told me to get off your phone, I dont know how he knew!-

"Heh , he does that yeah. I guess we should make ourselves useful and get the plates and such ready for dinner , help me up"

Claire tucked her arm under her cousins shoulders and hoisted her out of the bed before reaching the stairs, claire awkwardly cleared her throat and the duo looked at eachother

"How are we gonna do this?"

"I've no idea I was kinda winging it"

"Of course you were" Claire sighed before releasing her cousins shoulders and taking a step down looking back up at her cousin

"Ok I'm gonna take your hands ok? You're just gonna have to take the steps yourself"

Red grimaces before lifting her leg about to attempt to decend the stairs before the front door burst open

"HUMAN IVE RETURNED- WHAT ARE YOU DOING" Papyrus boomed before racing up the stairs and scooping Red up from where she stood swiftly and bringing her down the stairs

"Hello to you too" Claire scoffed making red giggle as she was set down on the couch

"Thank you Papy"

Papyrus hummed before placing his hands on his hip bones

"Dont attempt to go near those stairs without me or sans! You'll hurt yourself further!" He looked mildly annoyed but worry was written all over him making Red giggle

"Sorry papy , I'm just so hungry! I had to come down before I started eating your room"

"And I'd rather you have done that than risk hurting yourself further human!" He replied before entering the kitchen making Red chuckle bashfully before looking up at her cousin

"Only calls me human when its serious"

Claire rolled her eyes before Papyrus re entered the room looking more annoyed

"Where is my lazy bones brother?"

"Not home yet" claire replied making him scoff

"Well thank goodness I picked up something for dinner" he huffed before retrieving a plastic bag he previously discarded beside the couch. Taking out small tubs of Tupperware filled with various foods he made his way back into the kitchen to dish them out.

After dinner Papyrus cleaned quickly and joined Red on the couch where a mettaton show was on , her eyes were filled with humour as she observed the robot on screen

"He really hasnt changed huh? He kept that body then?"

"Mm , Alphyss made some adjustments to its batteries so they last for days before he has to charge them." Papyrus explained before looking around
