The Friend from Fire.

The human was in fact not surrendered but taken by force.

During the scuffle of being caught , Red had managed to get Claire into a make shift disguise

"What are you doing?!" She protested as Red shoved on the hallow blaster skull Papyrus had quickly summoned per request.

"Making you look less Human." Red hurriedly fixed the loose strands of her hair inside of it before a battle took place.

The battle by all meaning of the word was incredibly unfair. Over 35 enemies facing one swordsman was insane to think of anh other outcome. Red was taken by force after a quick struggle. Everyone else was ordered to go home and forget what they saw.

Papyrus and Undyne were summoned to the royal guard immediately. Not before being mocked for their outfits and being told to change. Red was dragged off to the capital barely conscious. Claire had sneakily followed the escort through the streets of the capital to a grand entrance hall of what seemed to be a City hall. The hall had a dazzling throne at the very end perched proudly on a step covered in purple sheets with a strange emblem.

The room was quickly filling up with all members of the royal guard along with some royal employees. Red wheezed in her breath before fully examining the room taking notice to the shackles around her wrists.

Claire had managed to hide herself among the royal employees , they didnt take much notice to her thankfully. Desperately trying to gain Reds attention Claire finally caught her eye after sneezing against her will. Red sighed looking at her before shaking her head and bowing it down again. Claire grimaced seeing her cousin in such a weakened state.

Commander Canol strided into the room followed by his loyal companion Dol. Red didnt even look at them as they passed. Claire shrunk back in order to stay hidden. The commander now stood infront of the throne to address the Hall

"My fellow monsters!", His voice bellowed.

"I have captured the human! I did what King Asgore failed to do!"

"Dont you dare speak his name" Red spat now raising one leg trying to stand from her kneeling position.

"Quiet!" A guard barked before hitting her back into kneeling. Red gritted her teeth before looking up to the commander again

"You didnt capture me. You're a coward who wouldnt do it yourself , sending out most of the fucking guard after me. You got me with sheer numbers."

Commander Canol smirked to himself and gestured toward her

"The human tries to offend me in order to win you over. You see their tricks! They cannot be trusted. It has brain washed others and I will not let it stand any longer! The human is now weak! Now is the time we take its soul and rebuild our dream to see the surface again!"

Red tries to stand again
"Call me an it again and see what happens you fucking bastard. I came back in order to free everyone. I'll find the other souls to break the barrier"

"And will you give up your own then? We need seven. Old king Asgore only had 6"

"I thought I told you not to speak his Name you snake. He was twice the monster you are , you're nothing more than a kid wanting to play pretend."

"You fail to answer me" Canol points out.

Red falls silent. She is beaten back into kneeling much to the amusement of the commander. The guard raises his club to deal another blow but

"STOP!"

The commander whirls around to the voice. Claire pushes forward from the ground now standing between them
