Finally breaching the fog the duo entered waterfall.... for the second time. The pair walked faster then before in order to quickly pass the area.
"Jesus Red slow down , wheres the fire?"
"You've no idea how well placed that joke is. But anyway , there isnt any now. I'm just trying to see what the hell I missed..... wait"
Claire stopped and looked at her puzzled
"We've been here before..."
"Have we? But I thought the echo flowers are just ahead? Did we take a wrong turn?"
"We couldn't have .... we've been in this room already we should have saw the echo flowers 10 minutes ago"
"Let's just keep walking and see where it gets us"
Red nodded in agreement and they made their way further into the cavern only to see
"This is the start of this room!! How are we going in a circle?? This doesnt make any fucking sense!"
"I dont know" Claire sighed and rubbed her stomach anxiously
Red kicked a stone out of frustration only for the wall to crack a little as the stone made contact. The pair looked at eachother before Red examined the small crack
"It looks like , glass? What the hell?" She pulled out her sword and pushed it through the crack before swiping up causing it to shatter
Claire grabbed onto Reds elbow as they stepped through the now shattered wall.
"This is... the next room?"
"Red maybe we should call one of your friends... I dont like this"
"Its gonna be okay. Come on"
They pushed forward only to find themselves back at the shattered wall they first walked through. Red stabbed another wall only for it to shatter aswell producing another room
"Its a glass maze"
"Is this normal???"
"Not at all... what the hell" Red muttered under her breath before trudging forward
"Why wasnt it like this before??"
" I dont know.. it's okay Claire we can find our way"
"...if it doesnt matter what walls we shatter .. why dont we just shatter them all?"
"I'm not sure that's altogether wise.. I dont really know what's keeping the roof up"
"Noted.. how do we know then?"
"Hmm... well if we entered from the left the first time and went up then the next should be... to the right come on!"
The two sprinted toward the wall and shattered it only to reenter the first room
" OH COME ON! I FIGURED IT OUT"
a throaty chuckle echoed around them causing claire to sink into herself. Red stood protectivly with her sword at the ready , its red glow starting to make itself known.
"Come out and fight coward!"
The laughter surrounded them. Suddenly their reflections were everywhere, every wall , the ceiling , the floor. They saw themselves morphed at different angles. Red swung and shattered a couple but more seemed to just replace them as quick as they shattered.
"Dont you know not to throw stones in a glass house?" The voice mocked
Red grabbed a hold of claire and took of running through the zig zag gaps of the glass shards
