Fuyuhiko Kuzuryu looked out his window in his bedroom. He was awaiting his best friend, who he visited almost every night at 7:30 pm. He checked the time. 7:27 pm.

He and his friend had to talk through the window Fuyuhiko always waited by. His father didn't approve of the friendship, so he never came through the front or back doors, because there were already guards there.

Suddenly, Fuyuhiko heard something from outside, and saw the trees moving slightly. He just assumed it was the wind, and didn't pay too much attention to it. But when he saw no other trees were moving, that was when he got just a little worried.

Then he something, or rather someone, walking towards the castle Fuyuhiko was in. He noticed that the figure wasn't walking in the direction of the front or back doors, but Fuyuhiko's window.

He looked at the figure more closely. He noticed that it was a boy, probably a teenager, and he had badly cut bright pink hair. He also had bright pink eyes that looked like they could kill someone.

He couldn't see what the boy was wearing, but he still knew who it was.

"Oh, Fuyuhiiikooo?" The boy quietly called out. He looked at the window, and when he saw the small boy gazing out the window, he smiled. He walked towards the window and climbed up the vines attached to the back of the castle.

Finally, he made it to a step that was also attached to the castle. Since it was too risky to climb inside, he could only sit on the step, since it was pretty close to the window.

"Hehehe....hey, Kaz..."

That was the boy's name. Kazuichi Souda. Just hearing the name made Fuyuhiko's heart flutter.

But he didn't like him, did he? His family was strictly against LGBTQ+ members, so for Fuyuhiko to like someone with the same gender as him meant possibly getting kicked out, or, even worse, getting beheaded.

Yeah.

They behead people here.

Pretty harsh, right?

Of course, Fuyuhiko didn't want any of that, so he tried to steer clear of men, but he just felt...different about Kazuichi.

Kazuichi, however, was completely head over heels for Fuyuhiko. He loved his smile, the way he talked, his hair, and his eyes...

My god, how obsessed with his eyes he is...

He loved everything about him. Only problem was, he didn't know if Fuyuhiko felt the same. So to them both, they were just friends.

Kaz and Fuyuhiko just talked for a while about random stuff, mostly about Fuyuhiko's dad and Kazuichi's place.

Then, the whole 'I don't like Kaz' came back to Fuyuhiko's mind, and he started questioning if he really did like men, or more specifically, Kazuichi.

He did like a few girls before, and now he liked his best friend.

Who was a BOY.

Of course, there was a way he could have been in the middle..

Finally, he decided to just tell him to get it over with.

"Fuyu? You okay?"

"Um...Kaz, I-I have to confess something.." Fuyuhiko was blushing red. He looked worried.

Kazuichi blushed too, the same shade of red as Fuyuhiko. "Just say it, I won't judge."

"I-I'm...I'm..."
