"Kaz, you okay? You seem...nervous."
"UH, YEAH, OF COURSE I'M NERVOUS, WE'RE LOST IN THE FOREST, FOR GODS SAKE!"
"OKAY, okay, calm down, Jesus Kaz, it's one thing to be lost in the forest, but it's a hundred times worse when it's with you."
"I-..s-sorry, I didn't really mean that."
"Yeh it's fine, I'm sorry too."
Kaz and Fuyu, just two best buds, stuck in the forest, it can't get more awkward than that, right?
Right.
But they were okay with it, right?
Right!
They were both just walking around and come across...a bench. Well, their legs were tired anyways, so they sat down.
Kazuichi was scared of getting lost, as you can imagine. But at least he was with Fuyuhiko, aka his crush.
Fuyuhiko, on the other hand, hated when he fell in love. He was scared of getting rejected, but he gave in to his feelings and just accepted that he liked Kazuichi.
"So, what do we do now?"
"I dunno, you tell me."
"Hmm....K-Kazuichi.."
"Hm?"
"C-can I ask you something...?"
"S-sure.."
Kazuichi was somewhat nervous for what Fuyuhiko was going to ask, because he hardly ever s-s-stuttered when he s-spoke, but he put his worries aside and just listened.
"O-ok, so...have you e-ever...liked someone before..?"
"Uh, yeah, I actually do..."
"Ok, well, I need help..on how to...ask them..out."
Fuyuhiko thought he sounded like a stuttering idiot. He felt so childish asking for something so...childish.
[remind you of anything *ahem uh cookies you monsters*]
"Well, I'm no love expert, but maybe you should just tell her, 'Hey, I like you, will you go out with me?' "
"It's, uh, actually a guy..."
"O-oh , sorry.."
"N-no it's fine..."
"......."
They were both awkwardly sitting there, embarrassed, both blushing.
"Well, thanks for...helping me."
"It's what friends are for."
Fuyuhiko smiled softly, trying so hard to hide it, but failed.
"Well, I hope you find your...y'know, lover."
"A-Actually, Kaz..."
Kazuichi looked at Fuyuhiko right in the eyes, awaiting an answer.
Suddenly, he got the perfect response.
"Kaz, my real lover...is sitting right next to me."
Kazuichi took a moment to process what he said, then smiled and hugged Fuyuhiko.
Kazuichi softly kissed Fuyuhiko, while Fuyuhiko kissed back.
"Fuyu, I love you too."
God I'm such a hypocrite
I said I hate the nickname Fuyu
And I use it in my own story
I know bad right
Yeah not surprising
