Frankie's POV

It's now Tuesday, which means it's been around four days since we all had to go to school.

The last few days have been easier than before and I think it's because we've finally got the hang of this 'family' stuff.

Ariel is still the cutest baby ever and is also more comfortable with me and Nick which is great because it means we've got to be doing something right.

Sebastian is awesome and the best big brother ever, he helps take care of Riri, as he likes to call her, whenever he gets the chance and is always telling her stories that he's made up, which is so cute to listen to and just warms my 'ice cold' heart.

And then there's Nick, now that's a different story, he still doesn't talk much but when he does it's either about the two little ones or the college work we've been set for when we are away. I mean it's not the best situation but we're getting there.

"Fwankie what awe we doing today?" Sebastian asks, still not good at pronouncing his "r's" properly but other than that he's very mature when it comes to speaking.

"Ummm...I'm not sure bud, what do you want to do?" I already had an idea of what he wanted to do but I thought I'd ask anyway.

"Can we go to the pawk please?" he timidly asked.

"Sure, why don't you go ask Nick if he wants to come," I told him whilst I clean the food from around Ariel's mouth.

"Okay!" he shouts already making his way into the 'games room' where Nick was.

"Your brother's crazy isn't he" I spoke in a baby voice whilst talking to Ariel which made her giggle and clap her hands.

"You're such a cute baby" I smiled whilst tickling her which made her laugh even more.

"I heard we're going to the park?" I turned around to see Nick carrying an excited Sebastian who already had his shoes on.

"Yes we are, you don't have to come if you don't want to," I asked just to double-check that he doesn't think I'm forcing him to come.

"No it's fine, I need to get some fresh air anyway" he smiled before walking upstairs to grab the bag with Ariel and Sebastian's things in for when we go out.

Once we got to the park Seb ran off and Nick walked over to the 'baby area' and played on the equipment with Ariel.

It was quite funny watching him try to move his tall frame through the small gaps and then proceed to try to get his butt down the small side.

When Ariel decided she wanted a go on the baby swings I turned my attention to Sebastian and watched him make friends with the other children that had come for a day out in the sun.

Every so often he'd change what he was doing so that by the end of our day out he would've been able to play on everything at least once, smart kid if ya ask me.

Nick came back with a content looking Ariel and sat on the bench next to me.

Ariel looked up at me and started making grabby hands toward me and like any person who's not a big fan of hugs but didn't wanna make the baby cry, I picked her up and bounced her in my arms, like a little newborn.

She soon fell asleep and at that point, I decided to call Seb over and grab lunch before we head back to the house where they will both take their afternoon naps.

"Sebastian! It's time to go bud!" Nick shouted, which caused Sebastian to pout but he didn't make much of a fuss which was good cause I'm tired and that boy sure does get difficult when he's not happy about something.

"Okay..." he sadly sighed and we started walking towards the cafe that's just down the road from the park.

One thing the teachers did get right was the area we all lived in. Everything was close by the shops, restaurants, cafes,  ice-cream shops, the school and there's more than enough places that the kids can go to.

"Hey don't be sad, we can come back and play another day but it's nap time soon. Okay?" Nick spoke in a soft voice before picking Seb up and lifting him onto his shoulders causing Seb to giggle.

I quickly grabbed my phone out and captured a picture of the two. It was perfect they were both smiling and Sebastian has a tight grip on Nick's hair whilst Nick had a hold of his legs.

Ariel started to make a fuss in the buggy.

"Hey, bubby what's wrong?" I asked in that baby voice everyone uses whilst talking to a baby.

"Mmm swad" she mumbled quietly.

"Aww, why are you sad?" Poor baby

"Wonley" she cried "why are you lonely?" I asked

"Whey pwaying without out mweee" gosh it's hard to understand her sometimes. "Aww they're just having some boy time...how about you talk to me?" I suggested "okay"

She kept saying things in her baby talk which half the time made no sense but I nodded and agreed to what she was saying anyway.

Once we finished lunch at the cafe we walked back to the house and put the kids down for their afternoon nap. Nick and I were sat in the front room flicking through Netflix trying to find something to watch.

"Ooh that looks good," I said when I saw that 'letters to Juliet' came up on the screen.

"Okay," He pressed the 'okay' button and the film started playing.

Halfway through the film, I felt Nicks eyes on the side of my head, when I turned to face him he quickly looked back at the screen causing a smirk to spread on my face.

"May I help you?" I asked, a mischievous glint in my eyes.

Nick's POV

The film that Frankie choose was a good film but I was more interested in trying to figure her out and I thought the best way to do that was to study her when she was relaxed and not always on guard.

After a while of my staring, she noticed and turned her head to look at me, 'shit quickly look away, she'll think you're a weirdo' my mind said.

I looked away quickly but when I side glanced at her she had a massive smirk on her face with a mischievous glint in her eyes. Well shit, so much for being discreet.

"May I help you?" I heard her ask causing me to turn my head back to her. "W-what? no" I stuttered, a blush rising to my cheeks.
