The moon was now high in the sky shinning over the lacrosse field. Winter sat in her spot next to Lydia on the bleachers after chatting with Danny for a few minutes. While the girls made small talk before the game, Winter looked at the boys gathered around their bench. Noticing a number 24 was missing from amongst them she thought about bringing it up but decided not to.

Winter had gone to many of Danny's games in the past, often sitting alone near the player's bench. However, she didn't really watch him because her eyes often drifted to the bench player that made amusing commentary on what was happening.

As Winter continued to look for him, she noticed Scott glancing at them "So, any news with you and Scott?" she spoke up, looking away from the boy as her heartbeat increased.

"Oh, no. I'm still trying to figure things out." Allison said with a slight frown on her face as she looked at Scott and the players about to start.

"Well, if it makes you feel better, his other half seems too not be here." Winter cringed at her words, why would it matter if Stiles was at the game or not. "Sorry, that was dumb".

Lydia looked over the two with a concerned expression knowing the brunette wasn't the best at making conversation from a few awkward experiences. With a small smile she joined in changing the conversation to point out Winters crush.

"What are you talking about." Winter said more as a statement than a question as she looking at the girl with a bit of contempt showing on her face.

Allison looked at Winter with a small smile as everything began to click in her mind. "You like Stiles?" she replied in the same manner of making a statement rather than question. Winter turned away not knowing how to respond at first.

"No." Winter said after composing herself, looking at Lydia and Allison for a moment before focusing on the field once more. Allison decided not to say anything else, not believing the girl who plainly denied her feeling with a flushed face.

Allison spent the rest of the game thinking about how Stiles focused on Winter the night in the school. Making her think that maybe everything could work out with a little push.

Somehow, following the game Winter was invited or rather forced to hang out with the girls after school to go to the mall. Although she didn't care to much about delaying the trip it was still shocking to be dragged into the woods by the older brunette.

"Allison, when you said we needed to stop somewhere first. A five-mile hike in the woods was not what I had in mind" Lydia spoke as the three girls quickly moved through the trees. "Winter how are you holding up?"

Winter trailing behind, just enjoying nature looked up to the two ahead of her. "Good, I'm not hurt anymore. Why are we out her anyway?" she piped in.

Instead of answer the question, Allison responded with a question of her own. To Winter and Lydia's surprise, Jackson had asked her to the Winter Formal and she wanted to let her know before accepting. However, Allison held a smug expression as if she knew it would make Lydia uncomfortable before speaking up once mover proving there was something else going on, she had no idea about.

"Well yeah, it's not like I would take him to the couches office during a lacrosse practice to make out with I'm or anything." Allison said making everything awkward as they all continued to walk in silence until they arrived at a stop the seemed good for Allison to test what was on her mind.
