I am looking at myself in the mirror and admiring my handsome face.
'How can be you so handsome Jin?? Girls gonna drool over you!!' I said myself and smirked.
Today is our engagement party. It's all fake but still, I am nervous. For the past few days, Irene was distant from me. Her whole attention was on her Boyfriend. I know I have no right to her but we are friends so we can spend some time together right?
I sighed heavily as I brushed my hair and went down. Irene may be still doing her makeup. 'Girls and their makeup! Aish!'
I looked at my watch. I am almost waiting for her for about 10 mins. I should call her now.
"Irene!! Hurry up!! We gonna be late!!" I hollered.
"Coming!!!!" She hollered back. Suddenly my phone started Ringing.
The caller ID: Dad is calling...
Aish!! Why this man is calling me?
"Hello? Dad."
"Where are you both? People are starting coming."
"Irene is taking time. But don't worry, we will be there in time."
"You better come in time. You can't do anything properly." Dad said in a pissed tone and cut the call.
'What have I done with him? Why he always pisses with me?' I frowned but suddenly felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around and my eyes stuck into her.

His stare is piercing into me. I can't help but stare at him back. He is looking so handsome. I never thought a person can't be so changed by having a little makeover.
"Um..mm...Irene?" Jin broke our pretty intense staring contest as he looked away and I looked away, brushing like a tomato.
"Yo-You are looking beautiful." He said with a smile on his face. If I were single, I would literally fall for him today. Huh? What have I said?
"Uh...Thank you. And you are looking handsome." I said smilingly and his ears turned red. He looks so cute when- Aish!! Irene!! What are you thinking????
"Btw I saw you talking with someone in the call. Who called you?" I asked as his face turned down. why my gut feelings are saying his dad called him?
"Da-Dad called me. We need to go fast." He said sadly looking at his feet. Bingo! I knew it!
"Hey, don't take your dad's words seriously. He is an Asshole, you know right?" I said, trying to light his mood and he chuckled while nodding. "Ok, we should be going now. Let's go to our Engagement Party!" I said with a fake excited tone and he joined me.
"Let's go." He said with a boring tone and we went out.

Jin and Irene stepped into the party hall and were greeted by their parents and siblings. Famous people and entrepreneurs are invited to the party. Elegance and a slight smell of alcohol lingered in the air while people were showing off their power and money.
Jin felt the same weird feeling when Irene linked their arms. Whenever she smiles, he skips a heartbeat. All the time he is trying to avoid stealing glances at her but every time he fails. He wants more skinship with Irene but he knows he can't. He also knows his feelings for Irene are growing more by the time and he needs to stop.
On the other hand, Dahyun got a huge shock seeing her homeroom and literature teacher aka her one-night stand with a man at the party. She felt a slight pain and sadness when she saw her man snaked his hand around her waist and she smiled at him.
Suddenly their dad called the man as they started approaching them. Dahyun got panic cuz her teacher might see her as she was avoiding her since their first encounter but she failed. Their eyes locked and Dahyun felt her heart skip a beat.
"Hello, Mr. And Mrs.Choi. I thought you couldn't make to come here." Mr.Kim said while shaking their hands.

'Mrs. Choi? She is married !!!! She used me!!! Even cheated on her husband using me 1 year ago?? God!! Why even I fall for this woman!!!!' I said myself as sighed mentally.

"Congrats both of you and blessings for your future." Mr. Choi said as gave Jin a light pat on his shoulder and they thanked him.
"Btw this is my daughter, Dahyun, and my elder Son Kim Namjoon," Dad said while pointing at us and I gave them a tight smile. I just wanna run from here!!
" I know her. She is my student." Here she butts in. Who asked you, cheater!!
"Oh! That's great. Is she a good student or trouble maker?" Dad asked and she looked at me.
"She is a good student. Don't worry, Mr.Kim," she said, giving me a genuine smile but I looked away. I hate when she pretends nothing happened between us.
'But she is married and that was only one nightstand. She is now your fucking teacher and stops thinking about her!! Move on!! ' my mind butt in and it hurts but true.
I need fresh air to clear my head so I excused myself and started walking to the exit.
I don't know why I fell in love with you. But it's hurt that you are so close but yet so far.
I felt warm water crawling down my face and I wiped them with my thumbs.
