Not Interested (Draft)

Chapter -2- Not my day

Florence felt a tap on her shoulder. She brushed it off. But then someone's voice startled her awake "Hey wake up. You reached your stop unless you don't plan on going to school", she opened her eyes to see a stranger. She had reached school.

She jumped from her seat. "UhhThankyouandsorry", she said in a hurry running out of the bus. How did the thing she feared actually come true? Thank you god for your non-existence.

As she runs to the entrance of Dalry Vale she sees Hugo, who was obviously still reading a book. What a jerk! At least wake a person up, it's not that difficult.

She makes her way to class and sent Rai a message to tell her that she had arrived at school. As she enters class she notices Hugo had already reached class. She goes to her seat while cursing him under her breath.

She checks Rai's seat who to Flo's surprise wasn't there but her presence in the school was confirmed with the hello kitty pencil case that Flo once gifted Rai for her 8th birthday. Hmm..she still has it... Flo stared at it for a while.

Flo takes her phone to check the time it's 8 Rai should be here by now. Flo decided to send Rai a message asking where she is. Florence got a reply-

"The teacher called me to help her with some things I'll be back before class"

Well, that's that. Flo still had 45 mins before the morning announcements and class started she could get a little bit of sleep. Good thing she came early.

She set her things down and put a textbook on the desk. She opened it and laid her head on the desk. This is what I call comfort. Nothing is better than sleeping on a desk in class. All that was needed to get maximum comfort was to have a teacher lecturing in the background but that's just asking too much.

BAM!!
Someone slammed the desk next to Florence. Someone's having a bad day. She turned her head away from the desk and ignored it.
BAM!!
As they slammed the table again she heard a guy's voice say, "Yo Rai's pet, I know you can hear me", someone called her. Florence slowly lifted her head to see who it was. It was Rai's second worshipper Nolan Young. To Flo, Nolan is way worse than Hugo.

Florence decided not to answer him. "Now that I've got your attention, where's Rai?", he asked. Florence looked around as if to see who he was asking. She turned back to him and pointed at herself, "you asking me?".

Nolan looked confused. He is all brawn no brain. "Yes, I called you. Now that I think about it last time you made a fuss about this too", he rolled his eyes. What a punchable face.

Florence smiled sweetly,"I wonder why I would do that?". Nolan looked at her with fear, "Don't smile like that. It's unnatural", he gave a little shiver.

Florence was annoyed but maybe she could poke fun at him a little. She started to talk, "Now that I think about it Rai told me she was going to the.. uh.. gym."

"Why?", Nolan asked. Well, Florence didn't have an answer ready for that. She had to think of one quick. "Umm... She told me that she left something there yesterday", said Flo with no confidence. She crossed her fingers hoping that Nolan was dumb enough to fall for her terrible reason and even worse acting.

"Ahh ok", Nolan said, "Now that I think about it she may need help to find whatever she lost". He said making his way to the door.

Then came the sudden noise of a chair screeching from the front of the class, Hugo had gotten up from his seat. "Well, It doesn't hurt to have another person's help", Hugo said trying to sound cool.
