The next day Abhi woke up at 11.30 with a headache....offcourse he will because he was drunk....he came down and asked for a lemonade and sat on the sofa resting his head on the sofa with his hand on his forehead.

But suddenly he got remembered the incident which happened while he was returning home....

Abhi: why was he so scared of me...

" Who was scared of u..." His mom asked coming towards him with the lemonade...

Abhi: mom I met a guy while returning home....actually I was about to hit him...but i stopped the car at right time...

Smitha: then why he will not be scared when he just escaped an accident....

Abhi: ahhh...no ma...I mean...he was walking on the road aimlessly....that too at that time...and also he was calm and composed only when I came out of the car....but when I asked him to get him to hospital he got scared and ran away....

Smitha: ohh...ok may be he is scared of hosp and injections.....

Abhi: yeah like my Sid....he said smiling a little....

Smitha also smiled at him and caressed his hair.

Smitha: ok come lets have lunch....u didn't ate breakfast also....

Abhi: haa ma....he said and went with her.

On the other side.

Sid was sleeping on a bench in the nearby park. His hands were bruised because he fell down in the morning. Even he was sleeping his mind was filled with fear.

He sat up with jerk getting a nightmare about his uncle catching him....his eyes brimmed with tears at the same time he was scared like hell...

What if his uncle's men get to know that he is in kolkata....

What if he gets caught when he goes back to Mumbai.

Above all he was not ready to trust a single person around him.

But for now he have to do something to survive here. He checked his pocket and found nothing. Yeah what he will be having....he was locked in that room before running away from there. And now his stomach started to give sound as he was hungry. He remembered he ate 2 chappathis which was given by those truck drivers.

A shiver ran down his body when he remembered them and their words...after that he went to local washroom and used to finish his morning routine and washed his face and came out wiping his face with his t shirt. Again he wore the same t shirt and went to a near by restaurant.

For his luck the restaurent welcomed him with a vacancy board. He saw it and his eyes gave a hopeful shine and he went in.

Man: who are u....

Sid: sir...umm can I get the work for which u have put a board outside....

The man looked at sid from top to bottom...

Man: where did u worked before....

Sid: no where...i...I just came here today....

Man: I am sorry...I can't give the work to u....we need some decent one for this work....

Sid: sir please sir....please give me the work....i will do whatever work u give....please....

Man: why are u not understanding....go from here....he said and pushed him lightly....but it was enough for sid to fall down and he hit his head on the reception counter. As he was really weak the blood came out rushing as it was waiting for an opportunity to get out of his body.

" What the hell is going on here...." ....a voice came from behind. They both saw there a man around his 50s and a young girl around 20s was standing there.

The girl quickly ran to sid put her hand kerchief on his wound stopping the blood flow....

Girl: what the hell manager....is this how u treat our customers.....she yelled at the manager but sid flinched in fear at the sudden shout.

Man: vaishu mam....I am sorry....but he is not a customer...

Vaishu: so what....can't u see how weak is he and u pushed him this hard that he got hurt...

VD: yes manager....but what happened....who is he....

Man: sir...that...

Sid understood that the man and the girl came were the owner of the restaurent. He slowly took off vaishu's hand from his head and tried to get up.

Vaishu held him and helped him to stand.

Sid: thank u mam...

Vaishu: no need to call me mam and all...just call me di...

Sid just smiled at her...

Vaishu: ok now tell me...what happened....

Sid: I am new here....I saw the vacancy board outside...I asked him the job...but he is denying....

VD: why so manager....we are in need of employees right...then why u denied...

Man: sir...that's...

Vaishu: papa...let's talk about that afterwards....call doctor to come...he needs to be bandaged...

VD: ok ma...he said and called the doctor...

Vaishu: what's ur name...

Sid: sid..siddharth....

Vaishu: ok come lets go...doc will come...

Sid: it's ok...i will take care...just please give me the work...i really need it....

Vaishu: I assure u that u will get the job but now u need treatment come....she said and took him to her Papa's room.

Soon the doctor came. He bandaged the wounds and was shocked to see the belt marks on his hands when he rolled up the sleeve to give injection.

Doc: what is this beta...

Sid just looked at the doctor and vaishu and VD in tension not knowing what to answer.....
