--- Hello dear reader, thank you for continuing to read my story. I hope that it isn't too boring or terrible. Please feel free to comment some suggestions if it is. This chapter has a weird kissing scene, I will put little squiggly things (like this ~) around it, so that you can skip over it, if you would like. Thank you for reading this! ---

"It's a secret." Xun Yu whispered teasingly with a shy smile.

Cao Cao leaned back, dissatisfied with Xun Yu's answer.

"You're playing me at my own game. I didn't expect that. Tell me then," Cao Cao said, feeling amused by Xun Yu's playfulness. He smirked and leaned forward, slowly moving his hand up to Xun Yu's inner thigh. "How do you feel about this?"

Xun Yu's face turned a deep shade of pink as he blushed. The man's touch gave him goosebumps.

"I... No comment." Xun Yu stated stoically as he quickly regained his composure.

"I see." Cao Cao said thoughtfully as he retracted his hand from the man's thigh.

"May I try something?" Xun Yu asked innocently, earning an affirmative nod from Cao Cao.

Xun Yu then moved to sit on the man's lap so that they were face to face and he draped his arms over the man's shoulders. Xun Yu could feel a blush threatening to show on his face and he tried his hardest to fight it. Cao Cao looked at him with a stunned expression and gently placed his hands on Xun Yu's hips. Xun Yu leaned forward, near the right side of the man's neck.

"How does this make you feel?" Xun Yu whispered.

Cao Cao held his breath for a moment. He was surprised by Xun Yu's boldness in the situation, but he knew that he had to be careful, lest he risk putting them both in a potentially dangerous situation. He felt as though being cautious and not acting on his feelings would be best for both of them; however, despite his desire to suppress his feelings for Xun Yu, images of Xun Yu in compromising positions filled his mind. He inhaled sharply, forcing the images out of his mind, as Xun Yu laughed and pulled back to look at the man.

"I'm going to assume that you like it." Xun Yu said with a laugh as he looked into the man's eyes.

Cao Cao gazed at Xun Yu with care and affection in his eyes and Xun Yu felt as if he was frozen in place as they looked at one another. As he sat on the man's lap, realization struck him like the intensity of one thousand suns. I suspected that he was the one who had a crush on me, but I did not know for certain. Now I know that it is him; however, I am not repulsed by his attraction to me or the thought of being with him. Is there something wrong with me? Such a relationship would be inappropriate, to say the least. Xun Yu thought quietly to himself. He reevaluated the situation. No, there is no way that either of us harbor feelings for one another. I am making something out of nothing. He is simply playing again, isn't he?

Cao Cao averted his gaze from Xun Yu and glanced around the room at the open windows and blinds. This could evolve into a problem if someone sees us like this. With the ongoing spy situation, it would be best if we avoided putting ourselves in a compromising situation like this.

"Wenruo, you should probably get off of my lap before someone sees us," Cao Cao said softly. "Of course, I don't mind if you want to continue sitting here."

Xun Yu removed himself from the man's lap and stood up. He looked down at the man who gazed up at him with a sly grin plastered on his face. Xun Yu shook his head disapprovingly and sighed out of frustration before walking away to close the blinds of the two windows in the room. He then walked back over the man and sat down in front of him.

"Mengde, please be honest with me," Xun Yu said seriously. His resolve to ask the man the question that lingered on his mind wavered as he looked into his eyes. Why am I afraid to ask him if he is interested in me? Is it because I fear that he will say he is not? Is it because I am afraid that he is merely toying with my feelings? Why does it even matter if I know the truth behind his words and actions? Such a relationship between us would be improper and could lead to heinous rumors. Maybe it is best if we maintain this ambiguous relationship between us. "Actually, never mind. Forgive me, it would be improper for me to discuss such things."
