Everything is going in slow motion. Suddenly a doctor appears infront of the family. Miranda pauses her steps. The doctor begins to speak. "I'm sorry to inform you, but he didn't make it." Miranda blurted out "oh my God no." The family stopped whimpering just long enough to look at her as if she was lost. "Miranda I have to get back to my family. Are you ready to go?" Stacey asked from behind. Miranda turned and nodded. She had had enough for the day. Back at home sitting in silence she just couldn't believe the last few hours. Spending the rest of her weekend in sweats walking around the house. The local fast food joints was her only motivation out the house. Ms. Hatchmen was released from the hospital that Sunday evening on bed rest for 2 weeks. Pretty in Mink was due to drop the fall collection then. So work continued as normal. The day Ms. Hatchmen returned, the office celebrated. The fall collection only being out a few day and sales were through the roof. "I am so proud of all of you. You proved even in the most unexpected situations, we can still pull through. Thank you." Ms. Hatchman announced. The office that day was slow. Everyone seemed as if they need a day off. Miranda sat in her office mostly daydreaming. "Did you miss me?" Ms. Hatchmen said walking into Miranda's office. "Is it finally lunch time" Miranda responds. Standing up to leave with her. They take the elevators down and leaves the building. "Good afternoon Ms. Hatchmen" Miranda hears a ghost. She looks to see Franklin in every piece standing there holding the door. She gets in as usual following behind. "Your driver? he survived the accident?" She asked confused. "No, he died the same day. Driver take us up the street to Fisherman Palace. I hope you don't mind Miranda but I'm truly starving today" in a state of twilight Miranda quickly answered " it's okay I'm hungry too." Back at work entering the building Miranda told Ms. Hatchmen she left something in the car. Heading back out the door the limo was hitting the corner. "Damn it" she hollered. Not before noticing the companies name on the side. Back in her office she loses all sense of reality. Pulls up the search engine on her computer. Enters the name Smooth Transport. Finding a number in seconds she dialed out on her work phone. "Smooth Transport, how can I get you where you're going?" A young lady answers. "Yes, I'm looking for a driver by the name of Franklin." Miranda states. "let me transfer you" the lady says as she beeps Miranda over. There is no answer. Miranda hangs up nd begins to bite her nails. She paced her office for hours barely getting any work done. It was clear that Ms. Hatchmen didn't have her usual driver that day. Miranda was very interested in Franklin she had to talk to him just one more time. The next day at lunch time Miranda told Ms. Hatchmen she needed to go shopping for a friends birthday. For the first time they went separate ways. Miranda followed close behind the limo. When finally stopped Franklin lets Ms. Hatchmen out at a restaurant then leaves and Parks. Miranda Parks near him. Sitting thinking what am I going to say she takes her seat belt off does a quick look in the mirror. Then opens her car door. Her stomach was doing flips. She was out of character.
