Visiting The Beast

Sting Pov

The clicking of metal hitting the stone floor filled the air, as the soldiers in front on me lead me through the dark stairs. I could smell the scent of sweat and oldness, fill the abandon area. The small torch flicker, providing the only light in the room. We made are way, all the way down until we reached the last cell, there laid a still slumped bodied. I approached it but stop as one of the guards called out to me, "wait sir, that's a beast. We don't know what it might do." he claimed with concern. I turn to him and just smiled, "don't worry he's behind bars, even if he could break through he wouldn't dare hurt me." I tell them before moving forward. I pull a chair up to the cage and sat there staring at the beast that had taken human form, before breaking the silence. "What do you want?" said the beast in a harsh voice, still facing the wall. "Oh nothing much" I tell him, as I adjust myself in the seat. "Just wanted to ask you some questions." I tell him, hearing only a grunt in response. I took that as a yes and asked, "sooo what are you?" I see him shift a little in the small bed before answering. "a beast" he says in a small voice making almost impossible to hear. "Sorry, what was that?" I ask as I shifted towards the edge of my chair.

"I'M A BEAST!!!" he growls at me, as he turned in a quick motion to face me, making the guards jump in front of me to shield me away from him. I just pushed them aside to see the pink head beast bear his fangs at me, in a fierce way. "Is that it?" he ask with a sneer, "If so, leave me be." he tells me while turning back towards the wall. But I was far from done with him. "Well I did say question; did I not?" I say with a chuckle. I got up from the chair and went to lay against one of the stone walls, turning to face the beast. One of my legs was lifted up as if to support the wall and my arms stayed crossed in front of me as I asked my next question. "How do you know the Princess?" I ask staring deep into the cage to see his reaction. He stayed still but only for a few seconds before answering, don't know what you talking about." At those words anger had strike me, "Don't lie you beast" I say through gritted teeth, but still no reaction. I push my way off the cold wall and made it to the front of the cage.

"What is your relationship with my fiance?" I say in anger. I had to know, how a beast like this can kiss my lovely princess when she doesn't even take a second glance in my direction. At the word fiance, it seem that he could answer so I asked even more. "what is your connection with my soon to be wife, the princess of this castle?" I say gripping onto the bars. "Huh, are you going to answer? You beast." I say in a teasing voice. I see the beast sit up and look at me through his eyelashes, a dark shadow was on his face and his claws gripped on the old torn sheets. I knew I had hit him and I wanted answer, even if that means releasing the true animal with in this Creator. But instead he whisper, "Im sorry but I don't know the princess of the castle, or your future wife." His voice sounded strained as if forcing the word out of his own mouth. I let a puff of air from my mouth out as I made my way back to my chair. "So you don't know who that female, was that you kissed yesterday was? or why you were defending her , from me her fiance?" It seemed that I had hit nerve as I see him get up and go to the bars, his hands grip on the silver metals that kept him locked up. "How is she? Is she safe?" he ask me in concern. "Oh I thought you didn't know her?" I asked with a raised eyebrow.

He looked at me with murderous eyes, "If she hasn't told you, then why should I? he says releasing the bars and returning to the shadows. Just as I was about to asks him some more question I was distracted but the sound of foot steps that had filled the room. Making me turn around the face the person who had dare to come down this dark place. To my surprise it was just my twin who was only accompanied by his cat Frosch and mine, Lector. "Brother" He says with smug smile. "Your cat got lonely so I though we go find you and ended up here." He say while gesturing to the room, leave it Rogue to go into a dark place by himself. " So what you up too" he says once standing beside me , but his eyes directed at the cage in front of us

"Nothing much just talking to the beast" I say with a grin making my brother look at me before going back to face to cage. "and what did you get?" he says his serious mode switching on. "noting much I say getting up from my chair but I guess thet's all for today" I tell Rogue placing the chair back and going over to pick up Lector who was purring at my feet. Just I was about to leave when I hear the beast call out to me, "wait you didn't answer me. Is she okay?" I feel his deep eyes pierce my back waiting for a answer. "Yes she just fine. Don't worry I won't let anything happen to her." I say to him still facing the long set of stairs. I hear a sigh of relieve come from him, as I made my way up the stairs. Letting nothing but silence fill the air.

I open the door only to be screamed at by someone, "Prince sting!" I turn to the direction of the call to see the pinked headed maid run to our direction. Once she had reached as, she had let out heavy and deep breaths. As soon as she had caught her breath again she stood up straight and looked at me, "The king has been looking for you all morning" she tells me in a rush. Making me look at Rogue who had just shrugged his shoulder at me. I gently place Lector to the ground and then facing the maid. "Where is he?", the pinked head maid just nodded at me, before saying to follower her. I wave to Rogue before waling away into the long hall that lead to the king large room. I see the the maid open the door, stepping aside to let me in. In the room sat the king in his chair on on the floor sat Lucy knelt in front over her father. She looked beautiful, the silk pink dress that brought the blush out on her cheek; her hair was pull back in a neat bun and on her head laid a small crown. But her head was bowed and a sad expression that didn't belong on her face. "Thank you Virgo, your dismissed" boomed the kings voice in the room. I turn to see the maid bow at the king and then closing the door behind her. I turn to face the king who gestured with his hand to near him.

"First I want to ask for your forgiveness Sting for my daughter rash actions" He says the last part in a loud voice, making Lucy flinch. Seeing her scared and afraid pained me, I just yarn to hold her in my arms. "Now, since he's here, can you please explain who that beast got into my kingdom and why you had your lips on it?' he screams towards Lucy. I see the king face red with anger and Lucy face full of tears. "I don't know how he got in" she stutters out, through sobs and hiccups. "but you do know why you were locked lips with that thing." He says now standing in front of Lucy who shook in fear. I couldn't bare it any long and jump in front of Lucy blocking her from her fathers view. "I believe that's enough your Majesty" say spreading my arms out to protect Lucy. At that moment my father had entered along side with my older brother Laxus.

I see Lucy father turn to my father before returning back to his seat. "Makarov, I'll understand completely if you call of the marriage." I hear Lucy Father say too my father, I look at my father wide eye, but his gaze held onto the king. "It's not my decision but my son" he says "and I believe he will choose wisely" my father gaze stayed on the king who had already faced me. "What do you say Sting?" he asked me with a serious tone, "Do you choose my daughter?" I turn around to face Lucy who had her face in her hands, making a pang in my chest. "Yes, your Highness" I say getting on one knee to bow, then turning to my father for his approval. He just nodded at me then turn to face the king again. "I believe your daughter has learned her lesson" my father said getting nod from the King and with that all three of them left the room. Leaving me and Lucy alone. I get down on my knees and slowly rap my arms around Lucy, seeing that she didn't flinch away I pull her towards me . Letting her cry on my chest.
