To hold her

Lucy pov

My eyes kept looking up, waiting for him to come down. I wanted to see him come down those stairs and give me his usual goofy smile. So he could hold me one last time, "Hello, honey" I heard Sting whisper in my ear making me jump a little at his action; surprise by his appearance. "Oh hey.." I say still facing the stairs, not really paying any attention to him. "Hey!, what's wrong" Sting ask me while grabbing my face and making me face him. I look at Sting worried eyes making me question was he really worried or was this a show for today guest? "am fine, really" I tell him with a small smile, I see him lean in making me tense up, "you know we going to get married soon, so please don't ignoring me" he whisper softly into my ear before placing a kiss on my cheek. It was a soft and caring kiss but it just didn't feel right, like something was missing, or more like it was from the wrong person. I give him a small smile when I let my eyes wonder one more time to the stairs.

This time I did find what I was looking for and there he stood looking more handsome then ever, the suit hug his figure nicely showing off every detail of his muscle that hid underneath his clothing. A smile had crawled its way up on my face , "umm Sting am going to go dance a little more, okay" I say giving Sting a quick smile who in return looked at me confused. "O-okay" he tells me before I ran off in the direction of Natsu. As if he knew I was near Natsu heads shoots in my direction, giving me a warm smile. I see him fidget in his clothing, making me giggle at his action "You look handsome" I say as I reach for his hands and leading him to the dance floor. Once we had reached a nice stop I place myself in front of Natsu waiting for him to take the lead but instead he start to twitch under my touch.

"Um L-Lucy?" Natsu stutters making me look up at him "yes" I tell him with a smile. "Ummm I c-ca-can't ....dance" he say with a whisper with a slight blush on his cheeks. I couldn't help but laugh at his shyness, "its okay Natsu... I show you" I tell him while placing his hand on my hip and then grab his other hand in my own, slowly swaying my hips making him follow my lead. Soon I moved my feet making him stumble over his own, "slow, slow" I say taking another small step. I see Natsu look down at are feet trying to balance his foot work. We moved off the rhythm of the song, laughing every time he would trip, glancing at my friends who would through a thumbs up at us or was cooing at are cuteness. But deep inside me I knew this wasn't going to last, that once I let go of his hand I had to let go of him forever, and I had to tell him It was now or never. "Natsu..." I say letting my eyes meet his. He looks at me confused but we still swung to the music. "Yes Lucy" he tell's me with a soft voice.

"I have to tell you something" I say feeling a deep pain with in my heart. Natsu stop dancing and looked at me with concern. "Do you want to sit down?" he asked me but I just shake my head not wanting this moment to end. "No, lets dance some more" I say laying my head on his shoulder I just feel him nod his head as he held me tighter. "Natsu I'm..." I start to say but got caught off by Natsu. "Lucy why is there another man smell on you?" he ask me with a stern voice making me tense in his arms. "ummm about that" I say softly making Natsu pull me away from him but still kept me in his arms. "WHO. IS. HE!" he says lowly "Nastu he's my...."

"YOUR WHAT?!" he says gripping my arms. "my fiance" I say in small plead. I quickly turned my head not wanting to face Natsu at the moment but instead he pulled my towards him why whispering, "Why?" I felt like my chest was on fire at that moment "Because my father said so" I say gripping Natsu even tighter "I don't want to lose you" I tell him feeling a small sob climb his way up my throat. Just when I was about to pull away I felt Natsu grab my face and bring me up to him, he looked me deep into the eye, I saw him run his tongue over his lips and that when It happen. I felt bliss, his soft lips on mine the way they moved in sonic. I could hear the gasp of the people around me but I didn't care I was happy and I didn't want to lose this moment not now, not ever. But sadly that moment ended.

Sting pov

I saw her run off, a smile I never seen before plaster on her face. I saw her land in front of a men I never seen before making the smile she had before even bigger. I felt an anger grow inside me at every step they made at ever laugh that came from her mouth. All this was direct to him, not me; her future husband. What does he have that I don't, why can't she look at me the way she is looking at him? I saw her sway in his arm, a glow beaming from her face. I couldn't look at her happiness any more, if it wasn't with me I couldn't bare and look. I let my eyes wonder over the scene before me, any where but where they were at. I felt myself slowly start to fade into my own world when I felt someone sit beside me. "hey Sting why arn't you with you future wife" said my twin brother Rogue. "Maybe because she over there with some other guy" I say pointing my finger in her direction. I see Rogue look behind me, "hmm arn't they a little too close" he tells me while facing back at me. "I don't care she mine so he can't have her even if he wanted to" I say with a huff "beside she MY fiance."

Just as Rogue was about to say something gasps where being heard all around the room, making me and Rogue face the commotion. Only to face what I didn't want to see, Lucy; my future wife, lips locked with the pink head men. Anger filled me as I marched my way towards them, pasting through the crowed people not bother to see who I was running over. Once I reached them I garb the pink idiot that held my women and threw him across the room, making Lucy gasp, "No Sting don't" I hear her angle voice yell to me but I didn't turn to her instead I face the men who dare laid his hand on MY WOMEN. "Don't you ever touch her again" I say grabbing on to Lucy and start to drag her away. "No, wait! sting Wait!' she yells against my hold, "Let me go!" she says while trying to push my hold. "No Lucy, I won't let you" I say In a hushed voice making her look at me with sad eyes.

"She said let her go" said a voice behind me, I turn around to see the pink headed man stand up and look at me with sharp eyes. I shove Lucy behind me blocking her view of the men, "no, I won't because she is my fiance so I'll be taking her" I tell him with a growl. Who does he think he is to challenge me? I thought to myself. I saw his eye darken at my worlds, before flinging himself at me, "I said let her gooo" he says as his fist collide with my face. Making the guards take quick action at this and restraining Natsu from me. "no let him go, please Sting let him go" I hear Lucy pleads from behind me. "NATSUUUU!!!" Lucy yells out, I see the man fight against the guards hold and what I didn't expect to happen was what happen next.

The sound of clothes being ripped and the sound of flesh being teared apart, I heard a low growl that came from the men before me. "Let her go" said the once human man. Now he stood in front with large wings, a tail that swung back and fourth and horns that laid on his head. His skin was cover in scales and his nails seem to have grown. "I say it one more time. LET! HER! GO!" he says bearing his fangs at me. I hear Lucy gasp from behind me, "Natsu?' she says while poking her head out from behind me. The beast seemed to have be caught by her and the fear that showed on Lucy face broke my heart. I see the beast tail lower down once he caught a look at Lucy face "Lucy?' he says in sad weaken voice. I see Lucy start to walk his way but before she had the chance I yelled, "guards take that beast away! And lock him up" I pull Lucy with me but yet she protest against me. "Lets go Lucy, that's a beast!" I tell her but she looks at me with hurt eyes, before finally quieting down. I saw her gaze follow the one of the beast who was being taken away by Gajeel.

I pull Lucy towards her room, helping her inside instantly she falls on the bed and falls asleep. I take off her crown, and shoes as well as her necklace, leaving only her silk blue dress on. Then throwing on her blankets, I softly kiss the top of her head, "Good night my love" I say in a whisper as I made my way to the door but just as I was about to step out I hear her soft voice call out, "Natsu" her voice sounded sad and weak. Damn that beast!
