Natsu pov

I saw her face as he dragged her away. His hand gripping tightly on her, her scream for him to let her go. I wanted to run to her, her eyes met mine and a sad expression came on to her face. I felt a bang in my chest as she looked at me, the agony that was plaster on her face. She needed me, I needed to help her, but I couldn't go to her. My tail hanged low and the beast within me crawled at my chest, wanting to go to her; but my human side coward away in fear. She would reject me, I scared her, I was a beast in her eyes. Only those words ran threw my mind, as I saw her clash in the arm of another man, her scream of my name. I was the cause of her pain.

I could her the scream of the other people around me as I fought against the guards hold. I wouldn't let them cage me like a beast, I am human. I let a growl erupt from my throat as a slang the person who had charged at me, I felt pain but not from the deep cuts in my arm from the swords or the blood that tickled down my face from the repeated beating I had received from the different guards but instead a pain deep with in; my heart ache, broken with no repair. I felt weak but the anger and hurt made me stronger, fighting, beating and causing others to bleed. Until I felt a hand that didn't feel threatening on my shoulder, "calm down Natsu, before you cause Lucy more problems" said the voice behind me. I turn around to see everyone stare at me wide eyed, some that had coward behind the table and statues. I look at the owner of the hand to see the owner of it belong to Gajeel. 

He gave me a hard glare but not to scare me but one that showed me it was going to be alright. I see Erza stand by his side making the rest of the guards to back down, I look at both of them with pained eyes as calmed down. "I'm sorry" I whisper to them, as I let them take me away to where ever it was they were taking me. "we know" Erza said not any louder then the wind. They guided me through the crowd, glass was splatter everywhere and blood that fell from my skin had stain the floor. They lead me out of the room and into the cold night, the place I actually belong, alone; abound and forgotten. But instead they took me into another direction, "where are we going?" I say to them with a growl, as I turn to face them both. 

"Natsu calm down" said Erza, as she approached me; making me step back. "No, I wont! What are you going to do?" I ask feeling my chest go up and down in heavy pants, "Did you befriend me to kill me? To lock me up like the beast I am!" I cried out as I stood ready for a fight. I hear a sigh come from behind me, making me quickly turn around to see the small blue girl who claimed to be Lucy best friend standing there "No Natsu we not going to kill you but we are going to have to lock you up" at the sound of locked I let a growl come from my mouth as I approached her, but I didn't make it far, as I felt a strong hand grip me and slam me down. "Don't you ever threatened her again!" Gajeel growl at me as he pushed levy behind him. I stared at both of them wide eye as I noticed what I did.

"I-I-I'm sorry" I said with my head hanged low. I sat on the floor letting the green grass kiss at my legs, I felt fustrated I can't be nothing to Lucy, nothing. At The thought of never seeing her again I had started to pull at my hair letting out yells of pain come out. I feel someone present in front of me, "We don't want to lock you up, but we have too." said Erza in a soft voice "if we don't put you away they will come after you and kill you" she said Placing a hand on my shoulder. I just look up to see her concern face looking at me as I said, "Let them come" Erza looked at me like I was crazy before shaking her head, "and what would Lucy think?' She says in almost a yell. "I don't know, am a beast." I say sadly. I felt both of Erza arm grip me tightly as she said, ' A beast that she loves!". 

At the word love, my head had shoot up and looked at Erza as if she had grown to heads. "What?, Are you crazy or stupid?' I asked her as if she was crazy. "Lucy, A PRINCESS, will never love a animal like me. Am nothing but a beast." I say to her softly. "That's not true.' I hear a soft voice come from beside Erza to see Levy look who had Gjeel close by, glaring down at me. "Lucy she does love you, everyday for the past week that she has had gone to see you, has been the happiest Lucy has ever been." Levy tells me with a small smile. 'Can you continue making our princess happy?" Levy ask me with a kinda and gentle smile, I feel my head slowly nod at her until it had hit me. "How?' I asked with concern eyes.

"Just leave that to us okay" she says with a mischief smile. "But fist let get you cleaned up" she say while pointing at my wounds, I look down at the blood that ran down my scales and chest, making me release that I was an actual pain and I felt my body slowly give in as I start to stand up. "Erza can you go fix him something to eat" Levy ask as she turned to face Erza, "me and Gajeel will go down to the cells and get him cleaned up" She says as she pulls me up and throws my arm over her shoulder, while Gajeel grabbed my other side. I just see Erza nod at her as she walk in another direction then us. 

We walked down a set of stairs the sound of water droplets, dropping on the floor and the smell of rotten flesh filled the air until we finally reach the end of the dark and lonely place. I hear Gajeel grab a set of keys and goes to the cell that had no one in it and open the door, swinging it open to let all of three us inside. I feel both of them place me softly on the uncomfortable bed that sat alone in the dark room. I saw Levy quickly leave the room just leaving me and Gajeel in there. I see Gajeel get up and goes to sit at the edge of the bed, before turn to face me. "That was some show you threw out there." he say with a chuckle, "what were you thinking?" he asked me with a raised eyebrow. I look at him like he was stupid, "what you mean I was fighting for my life" I say with a huff.

I see Gajeel shake his head at me, "no not that I meant..." he grew silent, I lift myself up so I was sitting down and look over at him, "What did you mean?" I ask him confused, "I meant when you kissed her, you knew she was now engaged and plus you were in her kingdom; that was kinda like a suicide mission" He say while looking me in the eye. I look at him, as I let his words sink back in before I felt my head lower down and shake a little. "I-I don't even know" I tell him with all honesty, as I laid my head back so it can sit on the cold brick wall, "It just seemed right at the time" I say while looking out of the only small window that was in the room.

We sat there in complete silnce, letting each other words sink in. Until we were intrupted by both Erza and Levy, I see in Levy hand laid a large bowl of water and a towel that hanged around her shoulder along with a couple of bandages. In Erza hand she held a glass of juice and in the held a plate full of meat and rice. Levy went quickly over to me and started to clean me up making me flinch a couple of time, as the ragged would sting my skin. Erza also made her way over at me handing me the plate which I had gobbled all down. I gave back the plates and laid down on the stone bed trying to get comfortable.  I saw them start to leave but before they did, I called out to them. "Hey guys Thank you" I say with a smile, I see them turn to me and gave me a wave as they continue to walk away.
