RESTLESS. I feel restless. I feel confused. The past few days had been rough. Ivy and Nathaniel were a handful. Nathaniel. I've dreamt of him. His green eyes. He saved me. I owed him again. And somehow, I want to say thank you. A real big thank you than the last time. I know we hate each other but I'm not an ass to not say thank you to him properly. Now.
Before I could open my door, I heard someone arguing.
"What the fuck is wrong with you?!" I recognize the voice, William. "She could've died Ivy!" and he's arguing with Ivy. God. I don't want them fighting because of me. Or is it not me?
"I know that! But this is all your fault Will! I love you! I love you so much but you broke my heart!" this time, I heard Ivy broke into tears. "Why her Will? Why? Do you still believe that the Sidhe will love you back? She won't!" Sidhe? What is Ivy saying?
"She will! I can feel it." William sighed. "I'm sorry, Ivy, for doing this to you. I loved you too but...but she's my soulmate. The Sidhe is my soulmate."
"But you are not her soulmate William! You'll just get hurt by the end. The Sidhe is not destined for a creature like you! Be mine, please."
"I don't care if she's not destined to me. I pledged to protect her till death. I am so sorry Ivy."
"The Greeds will capture her someday, William. Some of us shifters might die. Let's run away. We don't have to sacrifice. We don't have to be protectors."
Greeds? Shifters?
"Then let me be the one to die. I am not afraid of Greeds. And you shall never speak of blasphemy again! We swore to the Sun and Moon! Do not forget that."
"I want her to know who she really is."
"You can't do that Ivy! Not until the right time. She won't be safe."
"Then when?!"
"Her 18th birthday."
"The Greeds never wait, William. We have to be ready. Anytime they would come here and take her. The wicked souls have been haunting her for years."
"You are right."
There was a long pause.
"We should go, Will. She's probably still sleeping."
I couldn't understand what they were talking about. What is the Sidhe? Greeds? Shifters?

On my way to search for Nathaniel, I am quite surprised he's on The Great Library. He sat crossed legged enveloping himself into a book that I can't distinguish. He looked handsome as ever in his uniform. His shiny tousled hair looking sexy and his lips were settled on thin line. Upon my awkward gaze on him, he suddenly noticed I was there. He lift up his head, our eyes met again. Violet to Green. "Good evening, Nina."
Darn. I hate myself when I'm so caught up with this man. "Uhm, good evening too." I said uneasily.
"What do you want?" His voice is so seducting. Rarely close to perfection.
"I wanted to say thank you." I sat beside him, but not really close, there was a space between us on the bench. "Thank you, Nathaniel." I looked into his eyes but it was scanning the book he is reading. "What are you reading?" I asked. You're not going to ignore me, Nathaniel Thorne.
"It's none of your business." Excuse me?!
"Look, I'm not here to quarell with you." He still didn't look at me. "Why are you so mean?!"
He gently closed the book he was reading and paced to me. I realized the book was the novel, Wuthering Heights; the novel I truly hate. Well not the novel actually, but the main characters; Cathy and Heathcliff. "Ah, since when did you read that?"
He eyed me perfectly with his dashing eyes. "Since I found out you hate it."
What? "Why?"
He smirked. The brooding guy smirk. I felt my heart beat fast. "Everything Nina hates, I love." He spoke my name seductively. His face was getting closer to mine. I think he's about to kiss me. My heart now beats faster than ever. No. No! This is wrong. We hate each other! I rise up. "Nathaniel, thank you...again for saving me. I must go."
He didn't look pleased when I rose to stop him for his aim to kiss me. "You'll regret it by the end." He said threateningly. Why would I regret that I had been saved from near death?! I don't understand this guy.
I scoffed. "You are crazy."
This time, he stood up too facing me. Eye to eye. His stare darkening. I felt like I couldn't breathe. I couldn't! I don't know why but I feel like he's suffocating me within his dark stare. I reached for my neck. I. can't. breathe. "Believe me, Nina, you will regret that I let you live." He said and left. Like a blink of an eye, I am able to breathe again. I don't understand what just happened. Unexplainable at all.
