From three to five

Chapter 5

Josie POV

"We can schedule a play date sometime this week, maybe at the local park" I said
"And where is that exactly? I kind of just moved here so I wouldn't know" he joked

"I have been living here for a year now and I'm just finding out about the park" I said

He laughed.

"I'm so serious" I said
"I know. That's why I laughed" he said causing both of us to laugh

Soon I got a feeling in my stomach a pain.

"Are you okay?" He asked
"Yeah I'm fine" I said
"I will catch you later?" He asked
"Yeah, for that play date with the kids" I said before waving and heading to my house

After a while the pain went away.

"Hunter was that you?" I asked
"Mmm" he says
"Why would you do th-" I say
"You hate him already?" I asked

I know hunter can't talk and I thought we took all his magic away but apart of me feels like he understands and he has magic in him. He probably only uses it when he is mad or being overprotective, it runs in the family on hopes side so I'm not surprised.

I walked in the house and took off his baby shoes and coat.

"You want to take a bath buddy? Yes you do,Yes you do" I said

He pouted which he obviously got from my side.

"Nooo" he says

"What? You're taking a bath mr sweetface" I said

"Mommy?" He says
"Aww, you said mommy!!! You said mommy!!I have to tell-"

"Hope." I say

I can't call Hope and tell her about hunter right now because she's going to be sad that she wasn't here to hear him say it. Especially since Hope wanted to be called mommy.

I took hunter upstairs and got his bath ready. He fused and fought but I managed to get him in the bath.

"You like it?" I asked

He keep splashing the water over and over again.

"Hunter stop it." I said

He keep splashing it over and over and over again!

"STOP!" I didn't mean to yell at him but this whole thing is like a repeat over and over, Hope leaves and me and hunter have our bonding time but his starts to get mad and I don't like it when he gets mad because then I can't get any sleep or anything.

He had his puppy eyes.

"I'm sorry hunter buddy, momma is just a little tired" I said
"Momma?" He says
"Yeah, momma." I gave him a small smile before taking him out of the bath and wrapping him in a towel.

I brought him to his room and dried him off.

"Let's pick out your pjs mr sweetface" I said before placing him on his bed and heading to get the clothes.

I put his pamper and clothes on and laid him down.

"Night night baby" I said

He was tired so he didn't give me a hard time and he just fell asleep.
