Chapter 7

Josie POV

Today weather is nice so I decided to bring hunter to the park for the first time.

"Hunter are you ready buddy?" I asked

He just clapped his toys back and forth

We arrived at the park and a couple of kids were there so I brought him to the baby swing and pushed him lightly.

"Hey. Josie right?" A familiar voice says
"Oh hey, Roman." I say

"This is my little guy, Mickey" he says as he took the younger guy out of the stroller

"Hey Mickey" I said with a smile

Hunter started to cry.

"I'm sorry buddy" I said as I took hunter out of the swing

"He always get this way?" Roman asked
"No, because we don't usually go outside, I was thinking maybe we could continue this at my house, maybe the babies first play date?" I asked

I then took hunter out and strapped him up in the stroller.

"Sure, let me just grab Mickey" he says

Hope POV

"So Hope, when are you going back to New Orleans?" marcel asked
"Hating my company already?" I asked

"No it's just I know you miss hunter and Josie" he says

"Speaking of which I'll be right back I need to call them" I say

Josie POV

"So this is the famous inside?" Roman asked as he walked into my house

"Yup. I wish I can say I decorated it but I don't want to take any credit" I say

"Oh, was it like your sister or something?" He asked

"No it was hunters great aunts, they are really good at decorating" I say

"Meaning your aunts?" He asked

"No, my wife's aunts" I said
"You're married?" He asked
"Yup, newly married" I said
"Oh, I didn't know" he says

"Yup." I said
"Okay, well what do you do for a living?" He asked

Hope POV

"I'm leaving now" I said with my suit case
"What? I didn't mean that you had to hurry up and leave Hope I was just asking" marcel says

"Oh I know, but I called Josie up a few times and she didn't answer, I think it's best I fly up there, plus I should be there in 2 hours so I'm good" I said

"You're leaving already?" My aunt bex asked

"I will be back next month maybe with hunter and Josie" I said

"Hopefully, but have a safe trip back and call me when you get back safe" marcel says

"I will" I said before giving them both a hug and leaving out

Josie POV

1 hour later

"It's been really fun talking to you but I think that maybe we should plan another play date for the kids soon, but right now hunter looks tired" I say

"Same with Mickey. How about this, I bring Mickey home and you put hunter down and we can keep getting to know each other as friends" Roman says

"Why not" I say

He then got up and picked Mickey up and they both left.
