From three to five

Chapter 4

Hope POV
Hunter 11 months

"My aunt freya says it's nothing major but I need to fly out there without hunter and I think maybe you and hunter could spend time together while I'm gone" I said
"You don't want me to come with you?" She asked
"No. I want you to spend some time with hunter while I'm gone. Plus it will be fine" I said
"Okay." She says before I headed upstairs to get my clothes ready for the flight.

I don't know if my aunt Rebekah is completely fine because of the voice my aunt freya had when she was on the phone with me but all I know is I'm definitely trying not to go crazy, for Josie's and my sons sake. If I go crazy they will lose me and I know how hard it could be to lose someone but losing me and dealing with hunter will be a lot on Josie not saying she's not a good mother just saying it in a general way.

I packed my clothes and put it in a suit case. Since I'm part vampire now I can just compel me a ticket and be there in no time.

I walked down the stairs and Josie was still playing with hunter.

"Okay, I'm leaving I love you" I said before reaching for the door handle

"Wait!" Josie said

I turned around and I seen Josie sitting hunter down on the couch. He knows how to sit now.

She ran to me and kissed me passionately and when we broke apart she rested her head on mine.

"I want you to have a safe trip and make sure you call me when you arrive. If you don't trust me I will fly my ass down there searching for you" Josie says
"I will" I said with a chuckle

"And I love you too hopey" she says
"I still hate that name" I say
"But you love me so that's all that matters" she says
"You're right" I said before walking over to hunter and kissing his head

"I love you buddy" I said before walking over the door

Josie POV

a couple minutes after Hope left, hunter started throwing his tantrums.

"Oh no you don't" I said
"We are going for a walk buddy" I said
"W-walk?" Hunter says
"Ahhh you said another word! I'm so proud of you buddy" I said

I clapped my hands and he started to clap his in excitement.

I put on his jacket and I put my shoes on and we started to walk around the block.

It was about 7 pm but it still was light outside. I have never walked around the neighborhood before.

"Hello" some guy said
"Hi" I said really not wanting to be bothered
"I umm just moved in down the street" he says
"Oh that's cool" I said
"Who's this fella?" He asked
"He's my son" I said
"Oh, I have a son he just turned 1 years old last week" he said
"Oh, maybe hunter and him could have a play date some time" I said

"Yeah, maybe. I didn't catch your name" he says
"Josie" I said before putting my hand out to shake his
"Oh Roman" he says before shaking my hand.
