I exited the portal and looked around.
Many of the sirens were cheering and talking and genuinely being happy.
To the sides were others repairing the room from clear explosion damage.
Sorry ladies that would be my fault but we are theoretically speaking enemies so I did nothing wrong.
I went past all, after getting saluted by a few of the sirens, and walked down the hallway.
So around here on the left and three doors down is the common room, 6 hallways from that the docks, and around on the other side of the base is technically my room.
Well if it's the same, the places were but the people, sorry the important people, are different.
I was interrupted in my thoughts by a group of destroyers, seriously there came like hundreds of them down the hall, running past me and dragging me with the flow.
When we came to a stop we were in the cafeteria and they were shouting their orders at the clearly overworked and surprised cooks.
"Stop not all at once."One cook desperately pleaded but that came to deaf ears.
I didn't want to be here but I had several destroyers hanging and climbing on me, stopping me from just moving away.
I didn't complain, partly because of the siren that sat on my head and had her legs over my mouth, and waited like 20 minutes until they finished and sat down with something to eat.
Well, they sat down and forced me to do the same, who would have guessed that a bunch of kids could even overpower me. At least they finally freed me.
I coughed a bit and addressed the like entire cafeteria staring at me."So what exactly do you need me for."
"You are nice, not like Observer Alpha, you helped out and seem not afraid to speak."One said and many others agreed.
Every time my name is said I feel embarrassed and feel like I have been found out even though they don't mean me me.
"Oh thank you. You must understand that I merely put order in that room."I say hopefully that they get me.
"You seem wise and old."One said in wonder and got even closer.
YOU!!!!!!!!!! I am not old young lady, I must inform you that I am well in my late twenties if you want to judge my body.
I hide my anger and shrug."I won't say that I am not."
They all edged closer and I feel threatened by the wall of children around me.
Props to the one siren that entered the room and turned right around, god this must be every destroyer
in the whole base."Can you tell us a story?"One said and all still stared like predators.
I gulped a bit."Yeah sure but it's not like I know any fables."
Some groaned."No fables, stories."
"Ehh which one, you are too young for the bloody. The dreamwalker perhaps?"I ask them since I don't want to tell them the much harder FSK 18 stories I got of the war.
"Dreamwalker?"Some pipe up.
"Yeah, it's about a white fox that-."I stop as they all look scared."What's wrong?"
"Don't you know the stories about the white fox?"One started and whimpered.
"She defeated Purichi singlehandedly without weapons and even killed Tester Alpha."Another one said.
