“So this here and the napkins there, and et voila. Done.” I said as I finished setting the table.
I set up a nice table at a remote cliff on the island the sakuran base stands on.
I purchased a few pieces of furniture, which were unakashilike expensive for some reason, and decorated the place quite lovely.
Glad that I’m rich as fuck. Hehe. Saving the world one time does bring you many bucks on your credit card.
“Now that I think about it I didn’t exactly thank the president enough. Nah she wouldn’t have given me this without reason, a check of 500 million dollars. Hehehe.” I chuckled and sat down. “So now to wait for the big mouthed octopus. She better get here fast before the food gets cold.”
I merely slumped down in my seat and waited.
The minutes passed.
The sun hung low and finally in the distance I could hear my guest.
“I NEVER SAID YES TO ANYTHING!” she screamed and even though she was far away I could hear the anger and feel her fury.
I smirked, this is going to be glorious. Looks like me messing around with the base supplies and rules paid off.
Well it’s not like they will suspect me.
“The birds sang their little song and beckoned the reaper to come.” I chuckled and listened to the distant cries of anger and I immediately knew that my counterpart was coming.
The minutes passed and out of the forest behind me came who I was waiting for.
“So why the hell did you let me walk all the way out here?!” She screamed without even sitting down or moving into my sight. “I must fix a mess someone thought of with the supplies. Everyone is moving around and everything is refilled and needs my observation. They even say I allowed it so what the fuck do you want from me now. I need to abort many things and this keeps me from punishing several sirens.”
“Punishing innocents? Aren’t you the base commander?” I asked with a disinterested tone and took a gulp of my wine.
I brought this wine for this occasion alone and I’m going to enjoy it.
“Of course I’m the base commander, and who the hell do you think you are? Keeping me away from my duty.” she said with a vile tongue.
“Oh I know who you are.” I said and chuckled, savouring the taste of the wine. “Didn’t your mother teach you table manners my dear commander. Sit down, the food is getting cold.”
Observer huffed and moved around to sit down but recoiled at the sight of me.
Observer looked at me with rage. “You’re the bitch who kept me from getting my pet. What do you want?!”
I raised my eyes to hers. “That you sit down and eat. The steak is well done as are the noodles.”
I picked up a plate and filled it with spaghetti. “Sauce?”
“What makes you think that I will sit down and eat with you.” Observer argued and stared at me.
She summoned her weapons and pointed them at me in the same second and did a warn shot that should probably discourage me.
It didn’t.
I merely cut a piece of my steak and chewed on it for 20s before swallowing. “I invited you, it's only good courtesy.”
She was practically smoking at me not reacting in the least bit with emotion and anger.
“Will you answer me! Is this a trap? A try to poison me! An assassination attempt! An-.“
