A Night to Remember

I slowly opened my eyes and looked around. 7am. 'I'm in my bed. Draken must have carried me here.' I blushed thinking about him. He came to see me for my birthday. He kissed me and told me he had feelings for me. I got up and went to walk downstairs. When I stepped out of my room the aroma of waffles filled the air. I walked into the kitchen and the sight I saw made my heart stop. There in front of the stove stood Draken with an apron on cooking breakfast. He turned to me and grinned. "Ready for some breakfast?!" I nodded and took a seat at the table. He had already pulled down some plates and put them on the table. He grabbed the syrup from the fridge and brought everything over. "This is amazing Draken. Although you really didn't have to cook breakfast."

He kissed me on the cheek before sitting down and pulling some waffles into our plates. "I wanted to. Besides, our plane leaves at 9 so we really don't have a lot of time." I couldn't help but smile. I was going back to Tokyo today. I was so ready to see everyone. I poured syrup over my waffles and dug in. "These are amazing Draken!" He smiled victoriously and finished the ones on his plate. I finished mine shortly after and gathered what few things I wanted to take with me. Most of my major things were still with Draken in Shibuya. My phone dinged and I looked at the incoming message.

Hina: Oh my gosh!! Is it true?! Mitsuya said you were coming back! Are you coming back?

Me: Yeah! I should be back tonight.

I put my phone in my pocket and walked back downstairs. "All ready to go?" I nodded and locked the door as we walked out. "If everything goes according to plan we should be in Tokyo by 8 right?" Draken nodded. "Good! Hina texted me. She seemed really excited." Draken pulled out his phone and typed a quick message. "Everyone is. It's been seven months since you left. You've been missed." I took this opportunity to make a small joke. "And you Draken? Did you miss me?" He quickly wrapped one arm around my waist and cupped my cheek with the other. He captured my lips in an intense kiss leaving me nearly breathless. "Does that answer your question?" He said as he walked in front of me.

I just stared at him for a moment before quickly catching up with him. I my face was hot and I couldn't stop it. I just tried my best not to look at him. He glanced at me and just laughed. He threw his arm around my shoulders once we boarded the plane. As it took off I couldn't help out watch as the city got smaller and smaller. I nuzzled into his side and shared one of the plane magazines with him. "Hey. Has Mikey...tried to contact you? At all?" I slowly nodded. "He called me yesterday. Right before you arrived, wishing me a happy birthday. Draken... don't hurt me. At least on purpose. I don't think I can handle it." He pulled me closer to him and kissed my hair. "Not a chance. I promise."

Draken shook my shoulders, softly waking me up. "Hey. We're here." I began to get nervous thinking about seeing everyone. We didn't have any luggage so we didn't have to stick around. I walked outside and nearly cried. There on the sidewalk stood Mitsuya, Hina, and Chifuyu. Hina turned and her mouth fell open when she saw me. This caused the others to turn as well. She broke out into a sprint and jumped into my arms. "Your back!! Your actually back!!" I smiled and wrapped my arms around her. Mitsuya and Chifuyu walked up and hugged me as well. "Welcome home Adriana." Tears flowed down my face, tears of joy. I didn't realize just how much I missed them. Hina grabbed my hands with stars in her eyes. "Now that your back, can I set you up for a blind date. Pretty please." My heart dropped. Draken and I hadn't talked about telling the others. What was I supposed to say. "That won't be necessary, Hina." Draken walked up to me and put his hand on my waist. She looked at his hand and then at my blushing face. Mitsuya walked up and put a hand on Hina's shoulder. "You didn't waste any time did ya Draken? Congrats you two!" Draken quickly kissed me on the head before walking off with Mitsuya and Chifuyu leaving Hina and I standing there alone.

"I'm glad! I've seen Draken suffer these past few months. The only time he would smile was if he was talking to you. I'm happy for you." I watched the three guys socialize and smiled softly. "He saved me Hina. He probably doesn't realize it but he kept me from losing it. I'll always be thankful for him. Let's go!" She nodded and we all went to Draken's. Mitsuya had brought snacks and Hina brought drinks. We sat for so long just talking and enjoying each other's presence. "So how exactly did the two of you get together?" Hina's question caught me off guard. I looked to Draken and at the same exact time we spoke. "The Ferris Wheel!" All three of them looked at us confused and I clarified. "There's a Ferris Wheel at Santa Monica pier. It got stuck with the two of us at the top." Hina sighed in realization. "Ahh, I see. Either way you two are adorable together." I smiled at Draken before taking a drink of my juice.

They stuck around for another hour and then decided it was time to go home. Once they left I walked over and looked out the window. Draken joined me and pulled me into his chest. "You okay?" I nodded and placed my hand over his. "Yeah. I'm just glad to be back. And I'm honestly exhausted." I walked over and pulled out a pair of pjs from the drawer I had when I was here last. "I'll step outside and let you change." I quickly changed and opened the door letting him know it was okay to come back in. I did the same and let him change. I walked back in and saw him standing by the window in just a pair of shorts. He looked at me with wide eyes. "Sorry. It's a bad habit. I can put on a shirt if you want me to." I shook my head and climbed in the bed. "Hey!" I patted the spot next to me. "Are you sure?" I nodded and motioned again for him to come lay with me. He climbed in and I wrapped my arms around his torso. He put an arm around my waist and the other went under my head. "Goodnight Draken." I closed my eyes and within seconds I was asleep.
