chapter 13

*the next morning*

Jackson's pov:

I woke up at 8 am and went downstairs and I made it downstairs and walked in the kitchen and saw Griffin in the kitchen cooking breakfast.

Griffin: good morning

Jackson: morning

Griffin: how'd you sleep

Jackson: I slept good

Griffin: that's good

Me and Griffin continued talking until I heard someone come into the kitchen. I looked and saw it was my dad, he had no shirt on and his hair was messy.

Griffin: morning jay

Jaden: morning

Jackson: hey dad

Jaden: hey bud

My dad said and came over to me and kissed my head and then ruffled my hair.

Jackson: when do I start school

Jaden: tomorrow

Jackson: we need to go to the store and get school stuff

Jaden: we'll go after breakfast

Jackson: okay

Griffin: breakfast is ready

Griffin serves us breakfast and all the boys come down and we all eat together. We all finish eating and I go upstairs and get ready to go shopping with my dad. I got dressed and walked back downstairs and saw my dad waiting for me by the door.

Jaden: ready to go

Jackson: yeah

We walk out the front door and go to my dads car and he gets in the driver seat while I get in the passenger seat. After a few minutes we arrive at the store. We get out of the car and walk inside the store.

Jaden: okay we'll go to the school supply section and you can pick all the things you might need

Jackson: okay

We walked to the school supply section and i picked out my book bag and all my school supplies that I would or might need

Jaden: okay you got everything

Jackson: yeah

Jaden: okay let's go check out and then maybe we can go out to lunch just the two of us how's that sound?

Jackson: that sounds good

We went to the check out and paid for everything and then went back to the car. We put all the bags in the trunk and sat in the car. We ended up going to a little cafe that was a few minutes away. We parked the car and went inside the cafe, we took a seat and waited for the waiter to come and take our order.

Jaden: so how do you like living with me, papa and the boys?

Jackson: I like living with you guys, you and papa are the best parents ever

Jaden: well I'm glad to hear that

We just continued talking and then the waiter came over.

Waiter: what can I get you two to drink

Jackson: I'll take a water please

Jaden: I'll have a water also please

Waiter: okay, are you guys ready to order

Jaden: yes we are

Waiter: what can I get you two

We told the guy our order and then he wrote it down on his notepad and walked away.
