" Take care of me...take all day then at night fall in deep." Something bout this song just gives me flashbacks of things I've never done in my life. Of a man i don't need but would be nice to have you know. Don't get me wrong men do try to talk to me but i just don't want the thought or worry of them cheating and etc while with me. I've seen what my brother does and i just dont want that. My music was cut short by someone calling me.

"Ugh!" I mentally rolled my eyes and answered the phone. "Hello babygirl." My father always seems to call me at the right time. You know whenever I'm in a deep thought that I shouldn't be having or more he somehow knows and calls me. "Hi dad, what's wrong?"

"Girl nothing is wrong i cant just call my only daughter to check on her? Wow they grow up and rude to the bald man they once loved." He's so dramatic sometimes;I dont know who is worst him or my damn mother. I laughed at him "dad stop being dramatic i just asked was you okay." Everyone is at my house putting my stuff on the trunk...i would be helping right now. But that incident i had with that guy at the coffee shop slowed me down. "No everything's fine princess Diana, just wanted to let you know Sam and Milan are here."

Sam (Samaria) and Milan ( Lan) are my childhood besties we basically lived together all our lives. Our fathers where best friends from the military and since they were stationed together we were always around each other. And being as though I'm the only girl they were the sisters I've never had. And the same with me for them. Since middle school there was always 7 of us. And one day during tenth grade he just moved away without any goodbyes or anything.

"Thanks dad I'm actually around the corner now. So ill be helping" we said our goodbyes and i pulled up into my now old driveway. Boxes were everywhere which meant dad and mj were trying to pack the trunk nicely. Walking up to the truck my dad hopped out and hugged me.

"Aww look at you missing your babygirl." My brother always hates on me and my dad. " i don't know who is worst you are your mother with all that hating shit." I laughed but then realize my dad was outside with us. My brother made that ooh face you make when you know someone is bout to get an ass whooping. "I ain't mean that dad honestly." I begin to turn and run away before he could even catch me. No I'm not scared to curse in front of my parents but its the thought of having respect for them and not doing it.

"Mommmyy" i sung until she yelled back yes. Which allowed me to find her in my room with the girls and Caden. My parents had to try for another baby once i moved out and here he is now just living life with us. Taking my brother from Sam and sitting on my mattress. "So did you miss us?" Milan always wants to be mushy lol.

Shaking my head at her I continue playing with Caden. " so we have a friend trip planned in about 3 months maybe sooner and you literally have no choice to go." Samaria is always so bossy like she's not even the oldest bro. Sometimes i really hate Leo's they always so mean but as soon as you say something they didn't like boom they crying. But dont get me wrong us libras aren't any better but its not about us. "Sam think about it, what If i dont want to go?" I challenged her knowin she hates that.

She laughed rolling her eyes and mouth "bitch...try me!". Causing me and Milan to laugh causes she's so mean bro i swear. "Anyways do y'all remember Carter?" I snapped my head to lan as she asked this. Remember that friend i told you guys about that left during 10th grade well thats him. Me and him were what my family called un breakable; even though he was my brothers friend we always hung out together whenever he was around. We would watch movies alone at night and just talk each other ears off. He was what i called my best friend but then he just left me high and dry.

"No but why you ask?" I dont think anyone will ever know that we had something going on back then and i dont plan on telling them. My mother just looked at me like she knew i was lying but who cares. "Well he's back in town and they are throwing him a party tonight and they invited us." Of course they did, do i have to go?" I dont think i can look him in the face right now. Samaria just shook her head saying yes. This bitch sometimes makes me mad...i rolled my eyes.

"So what are you wearing?" My mother questioned and i knew she was being smart; so let the games began. "I dont know maybe i should go for hooker so i could get a man." Before i could laugh my father enter the room. "Lani i would kill you." Causing all us hot laugh he could never take a damn joke i swear.

"Dad you always ruining my jokes but seriously i dont know what i am wearing but i know i have a shoot later so probably whatever i leave there in." And the girl look shaking there heads yeah. "We are going with you so send the address right now." Was all they said before we put the last box in the truck. Sighing i looked back at the house and said my last goodbyes.

" i sent the new house address to everyone meet y'all there." I got in my car and drove off. Now i really have to find something to wear because i want to enjoy myself you know. Who am i kidding i always enjoy myself drunk or not I'm just a fun person you know.

About a 1 hour drive later we all pulled up to my new place. It's in my family area so i knew my dad had picked a great house. Walking into the house i just started to fall in love. "Thanks dad!" All of us said at the same time. Looking at the girl like they lost they mind "now bitches you both know you have your own shit." I barely whispered because my mothers laughed. "Somethings never change with you lani." Everyone laughed.

4 hours later my house was not fully done and clothes were hung up; now all i need is food you know. As my parents said their goodbye my mother whispered something in my ear. "Just give him the time to talk to you if he tries lani you may not know why he left." Was all she said before she left out. What does she know that I don't  because ain't no way she thinks ima let him talk.

1 hour later

The girls and i were fully dress reassured to leave out for the kickback. But something inside told me tonight wasn't gonna go the way we wanted. Pulling up to the house i realized whose house it was. Mj always planing some shit and not telling me himself sometimes i swear him and Milan fucking bro. Cause how does she know everything before his own sister. Weirdos.

Walking into the party we found a space for us to just be together and Milan went to go get drinks. "Sam where are the guys?" We hang out with a lot of dudes due to them being my brothers friends. She just looked over to this corner of the room and i seen my brother so I walked over. "Mj did you miss me?" I questioned laughing at his face. "Lani I literally just left your house. But if it makes you feel better yes." He lied. Looking around i hugged everyone we were friends with and continued to talk.

"Lani are you going on that trip?" Ugh now just ask dumb ass questions when he know his sister is forcing me. I rolled my eyes and they all laughed. Feeling someone just looking at me i took a seat next to my brothers and kept talking. "Y'all ill be back i need something else to drink." I walked away and went into the kitchen and here bitches go looking at me like they wanted to fight. But i not worried about them i grabbed a cup but them someone else grab one too.

Looking up it was the same guy from earlier today and I guess he had the same thought because we both just mugged each other. "Oh look it the coffee stealer." I laughed. I just feel like he's following me and that shits weird bro i swear. "Im not following you this my mans house so im here for him." Did he just say he knew my brother wtf.

Not asking anything else i walked away back to my brother and while we were talking they called someone over. "Carter bro come here!". Wtf now he's finally here and I'm starting to get butterflies like the first time we locked eyes. Looking down at my drink i heard a familiar voice but didn't think anything of it until sam tapped me. Looking at her she pointed up and sure enough it was the guy from the coffee shop.

"Sam thats the nigga from the coffee shop earlier." She looked at. Me like wtf and what she said next shocked me even more. "Bitch thats carter how cant you tell.".
