For the last week carter and i have been hanging out a lot. Kinda like old times, we went out to eat or even just watched movies in the house. And he has kinda became my safe spot again but i don't want to give in to that feeling. "Lani what are you thinking about?"

Snapping out of thought i totally forgot Samaria was over. We been talking to catch up on our lives because i have been held captive for some days. And then he's trying to keep me all night after this. "Oh um carter invited us to his house for a cookout or something Saturday. Well that's actually where I'm going tonight." I smiled a little. "Aw i knew you were sneaking off somewhere with someone but not with himmmm. When did this happen?" She's so extra i love her.

"After you gave the man my number and we met up for breakfast. We kinda just been hanging out together, rather its him going with me for my days or vise versa. But no we dont date or anything such he's literally just my friend again." I had to make sure she understood that part. "Well as long as he makes you smile as hard as you are now i dont care."

Samaria is such a caring best friend and she's always been like that. She literally a sister I've always wanted. But deep down she thinks she's getting away with her and my brother talking. Yea carter called Marcus to see where he was one day and he told him he was with sam and then hung up. And i really just wonder how long they will keep this from me because my next step is to out them. Ofc to just us and no one else.

"Sam what should i wear this Saturday, i have one last shoot this week and then I'm done for this month so help me." She just looked at me. "Lani you are the biggest cry baby i know but i love you. And just wear a flannel and them white boots you brought." She was right i could wear that.

"Okay now can we leave before I'm late." I grabbed the clothes to put in my bag and out the door we went. Just as we were getting into the car carter text me. Asking if i was still coming tomorrow which i was but why would he ask me. Texting him back, we were now on our way to this girls brunch with my manger and my friends. I normally do this so she can meet the girls that will be around me and her everyday and so things aren't awkward.

The next day

Naps really hit right when you're a hard working person. I normally never get the chance to take naps but ever since belle came back around thats all she ever wants to do. She gets out of practice "lets take a nap", she just ate something "take a nap with me", oh and my favorite one is when she literally comes over my house and lay on the couch with me. And as soon as i touch my controller she's sleep. I think that girl can take a damn nap anywhere honestly.

Checking the time and date i realized that today Lailani will be spending the weekend with me. No its nothing like that she's only staying because my family wants to actually meet her since she's all i talked about as a kid. And don't get me started on my mother she's so excited to see her again. Now what lani doesn't know is the party is tomorrow but some of my family members are staying the night, today and tomorrow. But i couldn't tell her that knowing her she probably would have had an anxiety attack just knowing, lol.

I think today I'm just gonna chill until everyone gets here. So let me shower and put some sweats on so i can actually start my day.

6 hours later

The time was now 4pm and i was playing the game with my brothers. Oh yea, you don't know them yet well ofc we have Marcus which is belle brother. But then we have Will, he's a year younger then us,definitely a white boy and nun of the girls met him yet. And then we have Asher, he's what we call a fuck boy. He has many different bitches running around looking dumb over his ain't shit ass. But I can't say anything because i use to be like him when i was in high school.
