THIRTEEN

Lailani-

With the break she just had this weekend with carter and his family; It was time for her to return back to her busy lifestyle. She currently had a busy week ahead of her and they were on the phone talking about how they would still see each other. I mean who can go long with seeing their other person, right?

Everything seemed like it was moving too fast with the two, but technically they have been doing this since teenagers; It's nothing new except they can actually be together 24/7 without a parent ruining anything. Lailani loved that about life right now and felt like teenage her would be having an party inside her mind if she knew about this.

Stepping out the shower and grabbing her towel; She looked over at her phone facing the ceiling and carter rambling. Not thinking twice she grabbed the phone placing it up against the sink wall and proceeded to dry off. Carter on the other hand noticed her picking the phone up and the conversation kind of faded away from his mind. If teenage carter could see this he would be harder then he actually is now. Being attracted to lani mentally, physically, and emotionally does not help when lani do these little things she doesnt think anything of Or so she says. If carter had it his way he would have her pregnant already but he understands things take time.

Carter plans to do so much for lani that she deserves, because hearing about her pass relationships he's upset she went through those things. But he's even more upset that he wasn't here to eliminate her experiencing those things. Carter kind of blames himself for how their relationship is right now, and how he feel like lani doesn't think of him the same anymore. I mean he did just up and left her without ever saying goodbye or calling...just went ghost. He still followed her life through the media but thats not something he should have had to do. And no matter how many times he apologized to her deep down inside he's not okay with himself for it.

"Carter...Carter...CARTER!!!" Snapping out his thoughts to belle yelling at him, he smiled embarrassed but also could care less. "what were you saying, you just got real quiet...are you okay?". She never gave him a second to talk back with all her questions. Carter couldn't help it but when it came to Lani he just wanted to make things right. And his plans to fix this relationship actually goes into effect tonight.

"Belle im going to pack a week of clothes and come spend the night with you. Well I mean if that's okay with?". She sat puzzled because she had a busy week a head of her and didn't want Carter bored out of his mind like her friends are; whenever they tag along. "I have a long shoot this week are you sure you want to do this?". Don't get anything messed up she knew she wanted him to come with her; I mean she can barely sleep without him since they stated talking again.

Carter wasn't even near his phone anymore he actually was packing his bags. "Belle I'll be there after I shower and give you sometime to figure out what we will be eating for the night.". All she could do was smile because he just understands her. "Okay, you can grab us something on your way doesn't matter to me tbh.". Saying their goodbyes and hanging up, Lani began to find her clothes for the night. Which honestly was a tank top and silk shorts because it's nothing Carter hasn't seen before. 

Before she knew it Carter was pulling up and she was meeting him at the door. Placing the food on the counter and his bag in Lani room; Carter was met with the biggest hug she has ever given him before. He basically was carry her smiling, I mean at least he knew she missed him as much as he missed her. 

Falling on the couch still wrapped around him, Lani sat up and looked Carter dead in his eyes. The tension was high and Lani could never keep eye contact with him; but something about tonight was different and she couldn't understand why. Looking down to her lips Carter went in for the kiss. It wasn't nothing normal about this kiss being as though Lailani and his tongue were now fighting for dominance; Carter's obviously winning.
