As the girls walked over to Sanchez and the guys. Lailani couldn't help but stare at him; She felt like she had her safe haven back. But she was too scared to even admit it to anyone or herself.

Being broken and down played by someone you loved can cause a lot of emotional damage on such a sweet heart. She was trying her hardest not to let that effect her and Sanchez but she knew it eventually would.

Too deep in thought lailani walked right into Sanchez chest, and he wrapped his hands around her waist. "I see you still dance." Lailani looked up at him and smiled, "sir I have a few things up my sleeve you wouldn't know about."

As she laughed, Samaria yelled out that Marcus was coming. Lani quickly pulled away from Sanchez and right on cue aria ran over to her.

"Belle my grand mommy wants you!" she yelled. Aria grabbed Lani hand and pulled her towards Mom; And everyone just watched as lani walked around the yard.

"Yes momma?" Hearing Lani Called her mom always made Andrea smile. Only because she always looked at lani as a daughter and the right fit for her son.

"Mija can I talk to you about something?" She smiled at lailani. This question alone caught lailani off guard because it could only be about one thing in particular....Carter and her.

"shoot for it." she looked at Andrea again giving her full attention. "What going on between you and Carter? Like do you see anything with him still, or are you strictly friends?". A two for one question lailani thought.

"honestly we just got back in touch and I don't want to rush things or even myself to deal with him or the drama that comes from it. Carter has always been an amazing friend and I know I would ruin that with dating me." I confess.

Andrea just looked at lailani shocked at the words she spoke; She knew lailani was scared but also know what type of person her son was for this girl. Carter has always cared for her and wanted to be more then friends but she couldn't allow lailani scared emotions ruin that for them.

"Mija take your time with your feelings nobody's rushing you. But just don't let pass experience hold you back from a great love story. And when the time do come hopefully i'll get my 2 grandkids from y'all." Andrea said causing Lailani to smile from ear to ear.

"I don't know about the kids part but I hear you momma." she hugged her and continued to converse with her and party also.

Later that night

It was almost 3am and the party was finally over. Lailani sat at the island and began to feel sleep take over. She stood up and made her rounds to say goodnight to everyone. She hugged and kissed both her mothers and father. But she walked right passed Carter.

This movement cause so much confusion for everyone; But she didn't do it on purpose she just figured he would follow behind her for bed. Carter sat downstairs for a few with everyone until his phone dinged.

Text Messages:

Belle❣️🔒: Could have just said that🙄
Belle❣️🔒: Now just don't answer me!

Carter laughed because she wouldn't even give him a chance to reply.

Stink😮‍💨❣️: Little girl give me a second to reply! And i thought you were mad at me cause you told everyone goodnight but me!

Belle❣️🔒: 😂Bro no I thought you would come up with me like always but I guess tonight was different huh!

Before lailani could send another message; Carter came bussing in the room. "Mamas why do you want to play with me tonight?" She was so confused.

"Carter what are you even talking about?" She laughed. Once she called him Carter he had now closed the room door and made his way to her side.

"Mamas come here." he motion for her. She sat in her spot to see what he would do. "Belle". Carter mentally laughed cause he know what she was trying to do.

Lailani picked up her phone and went back on tik tok. Now that pissed Carter off real bad. "Lailani get your little ass up and come here now!" Carter semi yelled. Lailani looked around to figure out who the fuck he was yelling at and she laughed at this man.

"I don't know who Carter thinks he's talking to but it's not the fuck me." She sat up now and locked her phone. Before she know it Carter was hovering over her now laying down body. On the inside she was smiling and at this point horny cause she made him mad. But on the outside she mean mugged a serious Carter.

"Why do you think it's a game? Called me Carter and Bro like I won't handle you?" Carter questioned.

"But it's okay for you to call me Lailani and little girl? oh please nigga." She challenged and laughed at him. Carter loved when Lailani became stubborn and soon he would handle that little problem of hers.

Carter grabbed Lailani's neck and lent into her. He can see on her face what he just did to her, But instead of going through with his negative thoughts. He whispered in her ear " Mamas stop playing with me~ It's Stink or Daddy to you. And how badly I want to tear your little ass up, I know you aren't ready for that like you think you are."

And with that he rolled off her and got up to use the bathroom. A now turned on Lailani sat in place for a second and mentally prepared herself for what she did next.

She hopped off the bed and rushed into the bathroom where Carter was at. She hesitated on her next move because she was a very shy girl and this was already way out of her comfort.

But instead of playing her shy role she stood in front of him. As she looked back and forth from Carter's eyes to his lips. Carter did the same with her.

"Mamas what you doing..." Carter questioned As they stood in silence. She leaned in and he did the same; as their lips touched Lailani became weak in the knees.
