I was currently talking to Logan about Virgil's little 'condition'. He had said that it wouldn't take long for Virgil to return to his normal mindset, age, and size. I'm actually not ready to see Virgil back to normal. He's adorable as a toddler or pre-teen by now.
"The process will speed up when he turns 16. During this time, his power will grow so we will have to keep him calm at all times. Just a little panic can cause a lot of destruction to your mental health." Logan said, reading a book on Virgil. I always wondered how he knew so much about the other sides.
"Are there books for everyone?" I asked, pointing at the book in his hand. He nodded when Patton appeared. "Thomas we should go to a festival!" He said clearly excited. Logan wasn't paying attention, but he responded with a stern no. "Why?" Patton asked in a whiney voice. Logan looked up and it sent shivers down my spine.
"At this age, Virgil can get anxious easily. This is the stage of puberty, but since he was already in it, it won't happen. This age is where most kids judge themselves on their looks. And having people around him to make him think people are judging him is not good." He said, setting the book down.
Patton looked down, clearly showing he didn't think of that. Then Virgil came and appeared holding Roman's hand. "Hey. What happened? Virgil was freaking out." He asked, confused. I sighed and shook my head as a 'Nothing.' He seemed to understand and went to the kitchen. Virgil was watching us trying to understand why everyone seemed so off.
VI walked over to him and picked him up. "Wanna go see the others?" I asked smiling. He nodded quickly with a bright smile. "Neutral or Opposites?" He said, "Opposites!" I imagined being near Janus and Remus, hoping they weren't doing anything that could damage his pure mind.
They were watching 'The Nightmare Before Christmas'. Virgil smiled and ran over. He jumped on Janus which startled him.
"Sh*t!" He yelled before realizing it was Virgil. Virgil giggled and repeated the word for at least 2 minutes before I stopped him. I laughed my head off when he said it at first. I told them to watch him and not teach him any new words. I left shortly after to see the others playing Mario Kart.
Logan was winning with Patton shortly behind. Roman however kept falling off the edge. I sat next to them and ordered pizza. The dude came after 40 so minutes and I paid. I sat down and everyone ate.
Soon, Janus was calling me saying, "Virgil stole my bed and fell asleep. Help" I laughed and told him to deal with him which he responded with a hiss and a groan.
