There is nothing to say. This is a short chapter.

TW: Karen, swearing

-------------------------------------------------

Virgil and I were at the store because Virgil wanted snacks and I didn't have any. It was also 9 in the morning. Virgil would normally be sleeping, but he is a child, so he has more energy. He was about to become a teenager. At the time, he was 12, but Logan says he will become 16 tomorrow. It's quite a leap.

Patton didn't like Logan's comment since he enjoyed having a kid-like version of Anxiety around. Neither did I.

I heard someone ask, "Roman?". Hopefully, it wasn't Virgil. When he got older, he started calling me by the name he usually called me by then.

"Y-yes?" I stammered. I yelled at myself in my head until I saw his face. He wasn't near me at all. He was being dragged away by someone with a mask on.

"Virgil! Wait!" I screamed, coming after them. We were in the real world so I wouldn't just have my sword appear so I could throw it at him. But, luckily people saw the commotion and decided to be good once in their life. They stood in front of the man, blocking his way of all exits.

I eventually caught up with the man and took Virgil away from him.

"What the hell do you think you're doing!" I yelled, clearly infuriated. Those who helped backed up a little so they wouldn't get hurt if one of us decided that it was time for war. He's huffing and pulling down his hood. It was a woman, probably a Karen.

"It isn't even your child! I was bringing him to security!" She protested.

"Then why do you have to look like you're trying to kidnap him, you psycho!" I yell.

We continued to argue while all the other people continued their shopping. I really wanted to slap her, but I started to hear crying. I turned to see Virgil crying his eyeballs out.

"Oh boy... Virgil, what's wrong?" I asked, kneeling in front of him while holding his hands. He hugged me and stuffed his face in my jacket. I was now beyond pissed. I got up and picked Virgil up as if he was a toddler.

I glared daggers at the woman and walked out of the store. I didn't get the chance to buy what I needed.

When we got home, the police were there. Not surprising.

"Need something officer?" I asked one of the many officers. He looked at me and pulled out his gun. I was stunned. 'The hell!?'
