Sarah's pov
Cate walks in saying Andrew and Sandra are coming. I tense up hearing Andrew is coming but she gives a re-assuring smile. This doesnt go un-noticed by y/n. Hopefully the cake will distract her. Right on time Sandy comes in with Andrew and the cake. Sandy sits down and sets the cake down. I signal to Cate and Andrew we should go talk outside. This is going to be so much fun I think to myself.
Y/n pov
You know something's up you've seen all these looks. You sense something gay has happened💅📡. You look at sandy and motion for her to come closer you get close to her ear "they totally fucked right?" "Oh ya" she responds with zero hesitation. You both bust out laughing like young schoolgirls.
Rue comes close and whispers "what are we talking about" and you all burst out laughing again." Pure happiness it's been awhile sense you felt that. That thought gets pushed out of your head when Rue says "alright I'm just gonna say it because you two already pretty much know they one-hundred percent fucked I overheard then talking about when they thought I was asleep." you and sandra both look at eachother like

And rue gives the knowing mother look. "And why were you fake sleeping?" You ask rue rolls her eyes "because I'm nosy" she looks at you and say sassily "wonder who it comes from" you all laugh Sandra overhearing this sweet interaction. You go to jokingly "hit" rue on the arm but she flinches. She looks down saying sorry. You hold her hand and she looks up at you. You give her a knowing smile because you've done the same.
Meanwhile in the hallway
Sarah looks awkward and Cate holds her hand reassuringly giving her courage to look at Andrew. "So?" Sarah asks not really what else to say. "My wife loves you and I love my wife. Communication and honesty and we'll be just fine" he states with a content smile and small nod. Sarah looks confused at both of them "Like an open relationship love" Cate explains. Sarah nods still very confused but glad. "Well I'm friends with Andrew and dating you so okay." Sarah says thinking aloud. Once it clicks in her brain she smiles and more confidently repeats "okay" giving a enthusiastic nod.And they walk back into the room.
In the room
Me and sandra sent rue over to the door to listen. Rue was more than willing to do so. When rue hears Sarah say "okay" and footsteps she hurriedly walks over to you two whom are eagerly waiting. She quickly says "when they walk into the room we're gonna say "hey lovebirds" in unison alright!" You and sandra both smile and nod. Soon the door opens and you all imediantly say "heyyy loooove birrrrds" dragging out every word embarrassing them more and more with every added letter. Andrew looks pretty amused, cate tries to hide it but the blush it creeping up on her cheeks, and sarah is a full blown tomato.
