Y/n pov
You feel like absolute shit but when you open your eyes and see sarah,cate,and rue all asleep on the chairs your heart could never feel so happy. You hear footsteps approaching and fera who it could be. Your eyes widen and you try to move a little but the pain in your ribs is to unbearable and you let out a groan. The nurse than comes in and looks at you suprised "why I see someones awake" her speaking wakes up all of them sleeping on the chair. They first look at the nurse who'm had spoken but than quickly looked at you. They all se your eyes open or as open as they can be at this point whith how swollen they are. Cate and sarah come rushing up making sure you are all right and holding you like your the most valuable yet fragile thing in the world. You only feel one of those things right now though you feel fragile,weak,helpless,and so many things ontop of that. But those feeling are pulled out of your head when you see Rue just sitting there staring at you. She walks slowly over to you.
3rd person?
She reaches out to hold your hand but pulls away afraid if she touches you she'll wake up. "Your really awake?" She asks. You slowly lift your arm up to grab her hand and smile with a little nod. She hugs you falling into your arms sobbing "I thought I lost you! I thought I lost you again!" That's when it clicks for both of you that memory. She was about 3 dad had sold her to this group of people for money. A lady was taking her away and said "she'd help her find the way" so called dad didnt care about that he just cared about the fact he got 20K out of it. She was begging, crying, screaming. You both remember. You remember dad pushing you to the floor when you tried to run after her. She remembers being dragged away seeing the person she loved most get smaller and smaller until you weren't there while she was pounding on the car windows. You both look at eachother shocked but you say "hi sis" and she smiles with tears of joy now falling from her eyes. Both Sarah and Cate are confused but they will find it all out eventually right now is about you and you alone.
Cates pov
After me, sarah, and rue were all carefully snuggling with y/n for about an hour I get up and excuse myself for a moment. I call sandra to tell her the news
Cate: y/n is awake!
Sandra: Oh my goodness that wonderful news! I'll be on my way
Cate: first stop for some red velvet cake who doesn't want that after being in a coma for two weeks!
Sandra: fair point alright and I'll tell andrew too!
Cate: alright perfect!
*hangs up*
Deal with it alright I procrastinate on everything!😭
