Felicity POV:

Thankfully, the meeting was over fairly quickly and the deal went through as planned. Unfortunately, my family still wanted explanations, and I still wanted an explanation as to why my brother has changed so much and why my parents haven't noticed. At the end of the meeting I was to write out a business card for my dad in case SI ever wanted to do any more business with Queen Consolidated, and I discreetly wrote a time and place to privately meet them and talk.

Meet me here at 5 pm. Don't wear anything nice, keep pepper spray on you, and tell dad to at least bring the suit in the car just in case. Love you all

"Thank you guys so much for coming today. It was a pleasure meeting and doing business with all of you, and I hope you learned something, Peter! Here is our business card if you wish to stay in touch." I say, smiling and handing the card to my mom, who was closest. Oliver goes around and shakes hands with my dad first, both flashing their 'business' grins at each other and thanking each other for the deal they struck. While mom and dad are shaking hands with Oliver, Peter comes to me and hugs me tightly.

"It's so good to see you again Felicity! I learned a lot today, and I hope I can see you again soon!" He says, smiling ear to ear.

"Yeah! It was so good seeing you Peter, and keep up that Spanish work! I know you will do great on your test." I pull him into one last hug, this time getting as close to his ear as possible and dropping my voice as low as I can so Oliver can't hear. "Make sure to come to the address on the card. Don't wear anything that anyone would want stolen, it's a bad neighborhood. It's my friends house, so don't worry about anything like trespassing. I love you, see you tonight." I break away from the hug and give him a smile that he returns and gives a slight nod to let me know that he heard what I said.

Oliver moves over to Peter while I go over to my parents and give them both professional handshakes and thanking them once more for their time. After I do this I overhear Oliver talking to Peter and can't help but smile at what he says.

"You did great today Peter, much better than I did at your age. It was a pleasure having you today, and I'm glad you came."

"Thank you, Mr. Queen, for having me, it was an amazing experience, and I learned so much! I'm just so glad I got to come today, so thank you." They shake hands and give each other real genuine smiles which is not something you often see from Oliver. I'm so glad they get along, now I just have to explain to my parents that I fell in love in the exact same way they did: by being the PA of a superhero/vigilante playboy.

My family exits the business room, leaving Oliver and I alone as they walk to the elevator and vanish from sight as the doors close. As soon as they are out of sight, Oliver turns to me, with a face that says 'why didn't you tell me something' and sure enough, the next words out of his mouth were: "why didn't you tell me you tutored high schoolers in Spanish?" Luckily for me, I had been coming up with a story since I made up the lie, and I stared cleaning up my stuff as I talked to him.

"I didn't think that tutoring in college to make a little bit of more money was that big of a deal. I was a teenager when I went to college, barely 13 with a full scholarship but no way to pay for anything else; I just tutored a couple kids in different classes, usually Math and Science, to help them not fail. It payed well, so I kept it up as a second job after college and Peter reached out to me for help. Peter was a special case, he was doing great in Math and Science, he just needed time to do his homework, Spanish on the other hand, he wasn't great at, so I helped him in that class. He's a great kid, and super nice, so he made an impression on me in the two years I tutored him. And he totally deserved that Stark internship, his science fair project was amazing! It was literally a security homing beacon with built in AI! I'm sorry I didn't tell you, I just didn't think it was that important." I say, looking into his eyes for the last part.
