It's gonna take a lot to drag me away from you. There's nothing that a hundred men or more could ever do

The song was drowned out by the beating of their hearts. Y/N immediately deepened the kiss pulling Loki closer to her whilst his hands moved from her hips to her bare back. Her lips were soft against his as he savoured the feeling. Since the first time he saw her, he knew this is what he wanted. He wanted to hold her. Touch her. Kiss her. He didn't want to let go. Ever.

I bless the rains down in Africa

Breaking the kiss to catch her breath, y/n knew what she wanted. The fantasies she'd have of him laying on top of her, between her, were about to be made a reality. She could tell he lusted after her too. It was obvious, but this was the first time they'd really ever had intimate contact like this. Removing one of Loki's hands from her back, she began to turn around towards the exit. She knew the next place she wanted to kiss Loki was in her bedroom.

Gonna take some time to do the things we never had

Walking towards the exit hand in hand with Loki, y/n felt a sudden change in atmosphere. Whether it was the excitement coursing through her body or the abrupt stop in the music, y/n didn't feel right. Turning around go give Loki a smile of reassurance as she felt his hand tighten around hers when the music stopped, she was greeted with the shattering of glass right by the window she was standing at.

Instantly trying to shield her, Loki's arms wrapped tightly around y/n's body as he tried to rush her to the exit. To safety. Running into the corridor, y/n tore herself away from Loki's grip as she heard the panicked screams of the people still in the party.

"Loki go back" She said frantically trying to meet his gaze.

"And leave you? Don't be silly y/n come on—".

"Loki GO. I'm fine, I can defend myself but those people in there cannot".

"The rest of the team are in there they'll be f—".

"GO!" She shouted pushing Loki back towards the reception.

Giving y/n an unsure nod, Loki turned back towards the party trying to help whoever he could. Meanwhile y/n quickly made her way up to her room where she knew all of her weapons would be waiting for her.

Dashing through the hallway, she was met with a plethora of Hydra agents all in fighting stances. Here goes nothing she thought adopting her own fighting stance. Y/N wasn't the best when it came to hand to hand combat without any of her weapons. Y/N was extremely worse when it came to hand to hand combat without any of her weapons, a lot of alcohol in her system, wearing a dress and in heels. Heels she thought as she kicked them off holding one in either of her hands. One agent lunged at her and he was welcomed with a Louboutin plunging into his left eye and a kick between his legs. Another agent tried to take her down and she managed to dig the heel in his neck whilst wrestling him to the ground. One of the first things y/n learned whilst trying to improve her technique when she joined the team was the pressure points. Knowing how to render someone unconscious with a simple touch was a valuable skill when fighting someone twice your size.

When the other agent tried to take her down, y/n placed two of her fingers just above the pulse point on his neck whilst grabbing his left wrist and placing an index finger firmly on it. Within seven seconds, he was down.

Scanning the area around her, she noticed there was one more agent she had to take down. They circled one another as y/n tried her hardest to read his form so she could try and work out where he'd attack first. His breathing was laboured and he was sweating which could signal he was nervous. His posture was slumped indicating he was probably new. Y/N could take him down. She was confident she could but she wouldn't make the first move. No she'd wait for him to.

Meanwhile Loki was in the party ushering people out. Trying to regain his composure after drinking a lot during the party, he teleported some of the seriously injured people out whilst he helped the others walk out. He tried his hardest not to worry about y/n. Was he wrong for leaving her. No he thought. She can handle herself. She was an avenger. He'd seen her in combat before countless times and she was brilliant. But she hadn't drunk during the missions.

Still circling the agent, y/n tried her hardest to fight the double vision that was clouding her eyesight. She just had to take down this one last agent then she'd be able to flee to her room and gather her usual weapons. Just one more. When he lunged at her, y/n felt herself fall of balance and sway to one side. This was when the man managed to get his first punch in. Then the second. Then the third. Feeling the pain coursing through her, y/n knew she had to act and act fast if she wanted to escape this unscathed. Dashing to the unconscious man on the floor, y/n grabbed her shoe in the hopes of digging it into this agents eye. Biting down on his hand as he tried to grab her, y/n tried to ram the heel of her shoe into his eye but surprisingly, this man was a lot stronger than she thought he was. Pushing her to the ground, the man then towered over her lowering himself to her ear. As he got further down to her, her eyes widened at the sight of the blade he had pressed against her throat.

"Hail Hydra" the man said before y/n was covered in blood.
